Chapter 37: Leaning in for a kiss

It was about 3 in the morning when Ivan turned his attention towards the main door when he heard the door opened. He looked up from his laptop and saw his leader walking in from the door..

" Alex? Why are you back so late? It's 3 in the morning.." Ivan closed the laptop and stood up from the dining chair, walking towards him. Sometimes Ivan would like to work in the living room. It gives him more inspiration and it was less stressful for him, in fact all of them would do the exact same thing from time to time. It's probably more peaceful here since the window was directly beside the dining table. Especially at night, the scenery was calming and soothing which helped them to be more efficient at work.

"Why are you not asleep yet?" He asked the tired looking Ivan.

" I have a song lyric to rush.. My leader gave me a deadline, remember?" He glared at the leader. He remembered Alex forcing him to hand in a newly written song lyric in a few days, therefore he had to rush..

" Oh yeah.. Don't overwork.." Alex patted Ivan's back and walked away from him, heading towards his room but bumped into his older brother outside their room.. Oh damn.. Why do I have to bump into you now.. He walked past the rapper but Liam stopped him..

Stupid leader..

" I need to talk to you," Liam softly spoke as he continued to walk in his room, leaning on the door open for Alex to come in.. Alex hesitated because he was afraid he couldn't control himself and get into another fight with him. But on the other hand, Liam is his only brother. Maybe he really needed his help. Alex let out a sigh and scratched his head before heading to Liam's room.

" Make it quick.." Alex entered the room and closed the door behind him..

" I'm moving.." He turned to Alex who was still standing at the door, stunned now. Moving?! Where can he go?! B.O.B still needs him! What is this man thinking?!

"Moving?" He asked with a sour feeling in his heart. Sure, he hated his brother for not handling the situation well but no matter what, he is still his brother, he is still the rapper of B.O.B.. Alex couldn't help but feel a weight on his heart but he had to put up a strong front..

MOVING?!

" What will happen to B.O.B?" Alex asked.. What does he mean that he is moving?! Where to?! Will it be far? How are they going to have impromptu meetings?! Oh my goodness..

" I'll still be around..." He sat down on the side of the bed, looking down.. He couldn't help but feel guilty. Alex folded his arms sternly, looking at him.. It hurts to see his brother like this too..

" Liam.." Alex called for him but he cut him off..

" I saw you with Anna earlier.." He mumbled softly but enough for Alex to hear..

Of course he saw them. Your brother even punched you remember?

" Can I be honest with you?" He looked up at his younger brother with nothing but sadness in his eyes.

" It wasn't easy for me.." He continued.. Alex just continued looking at him, deep in thoughts..

" I thought I could do it.. But..." He just looked down and shook his head lightly..

" You don't have a choice now.." Alex was being straightforward and honest with him.

" You are going to have a child of your own soon. A baby.." Alex reminded him, just in case he forgot about that part, which was hard for him to forget. Alex was right, Liam needs to wake up now, he needs to think for his child. This was not a simple relationship that occurs between two people. This involves his child. Liam hate to admit it but his younger brother was right. He let out a deep sigh and looked at him.
