Chapter 27: You Kissed

Hello everyone! We are back! Finally Liam and Sean are back from Japan. Everyone was at the airport except for Anna, or so what they thought. Liam and Shirley ended up in a kiss but what worse was Anna saw everything.

Wait for me.. This sentence kept repeating itself in her head. She remembered his text, wiping her tears with the back of her hands, she then took a deep breath. When she got back to her senses, she turned and left. She walked away from that scene, away from the airport. She wasn't sure where to go but she just wanted to get away from there. Her steps quickened and her speedwalking turned to running. She only knew that she wanted to get as far as possible away from him.. After that 1 week of missing him and being away from him, he managed to hurt her even more.. She ran as far and fast as she could, ignoring the looks of the passersby that saw her running and crying at the same time. She stopped after running for who knows how long and she found herself at a neighbourhood park. She walked slowly towards the park, plotting herself on the nearest bench. She was panting, sweating and crying all at the same time. Her heart hurt so bad right now, it felt like millions of knife had stabbed her continuously. It hurt so much that her chest felt constricted and suffocation her as she cried and attempted to suck in as much oxygen as she can to make her chest feel better. She held onto her chest as she cried out loud, she wasn't even sure if there were anyone at the park as she released all her pent up tears.

After a long time of crying and venting out her sadness, she took a taxi back home. She stepped in to her apartment and kicked off her shoes and proceeded to drag herself under the covers and hide in there. At least the warmth of the covers around her would be able to ease some pain as her tears renewed the dried up tears path from the crying earlier on. She could not be bothered to do anything else. The pain in her left chest was still lingering and she felt her heart dying a little as the time passes by. She just laid in bed from the exhaustion.

An hour later at the penthouse..

" Finally! Babe.. Where are you?" Julie let out a sigh of relief when Anna finally picked up the phone.. Anna moved the screen to the front of her face see that they send almost fifteen messages in total and she didn't even reply to one. She put the phone back to her right ear.

" Sorry.." was all Anna replied..

" Why didn't you come to the airport? We were all waiting for you.." Julie told her, Ivan pressed his ear on the back of the phone held by Julie, trying to listen as well..

" I- I did ..." She choked out her words.. Julie tried to shove Ivan off, but he wouldn't budge..

" What?! Where were you? We didn't even see you.. Why didn't you come and find us?" Anna could feel tears coming out from her eyes again, she quickly used a pillow to to stop the tears from out..

" Sorry, babe.. I have to go..." She disconnected the call quickly before her sobs became louder.. She fell back to bed and began pouring out her tears in her pillow. She was feeling really horrible. After this one week, she honestly thought that things would be slightly better but she was so wrong. She felt even worse after seeing her boyfriend kissing another woman.

"Where was she?" Ivan asked Julie the moment she release the phone from her right ear..

" She was at the airport.." She knew something was wrong. Anna is not the kind of girl that would leave just like that, she would try her best and stay. Something bad must have happened. Hearing this, Alex felt really uncomfortable. He stood up from the sofa, took his car keys and left the penthouse, immediately driving over to her house. He knocked on her door anxiously. Yes he knew he shouldn't be at her house, at least not now but his heart led him here. He didn't care about the rest. He just wanted to know how Anna was feeling and he knew his decision was right when the door opened and Anna's puffy eyes came in to view. Without a word, he stepped into her apartment and pulled her in for a hug.
