Chapter 21 : I'm staying here tonight (R21)

Hello my readers! So we left Shirley barging in Anna's apartment while the gang was having their dinner! Anna even hurt her forearm. What's going to happen in this chapter? Let's find out ..

" Why didn't you tell us?" Julie walked up to her best friend and sat down with her on the sofa, Ivan on the other side, still hugging her .. she continued to rest her head on his chest with her eyes shut.. She was tired, tired from all the drama that happened just now. All she wanted was a normal relationship with a guy that she had crushed on for two years.

" I don't know.. I just don't want you guys to have a wrong impression of him..." She mumbled, looking at the ground. But that was went Alex went in front of her, kneeled down and placed his fingers below her chin to made her look at him at eye level..

" Why do you always hurt yourself like that?" The moment their eyes met, she could see through her blurry vision that there was sadness in his eyes..

The rest of the gang tried to keep her mind off the whole chaos with lots of talking and laughing She felt as if a huge stone was lifted off her chest now that everyone knew what was going on. She was now able to rant to them how she felt and it was so much easier now since Shirley have let her own secret out. It was only Julie, Anna and Alex left talking as the rest had fallen asleep on her couch. Ivan and Sean laid on the floor, soundly asleep, that was when she knew it was late and they were all tired.

"It's so late.. Please go home" Anna turned to Julie who was one of the three that were awake and she could tell Julie was exhausted. Poor girl. She felt so bad for them because they stayed up so late to accompany her.

" You sure?" She asked, her head was resting on her hand, while her arm was resting on the backrest of the couch. As much as she want to hear her best friend rant, she was really exhausted. .

" Yes. Please collect the bodies of the three as well" she pointed at her friends that were asleep. Chandler was on the couch, behind Julie, he had his head rested on the backrest of the sofa, asleep, while the other two was on the floor..

Anna went over to Ivan and Sean, shaking them lightly to wake up while Julie turned behind to wake her boyfriend up..

" Ivan, Sean.. I'm so sorry.. You must be very tired." her voice was gentle and soft as she spoke. She didn't want to scare them awake and maybe because she was so soft that none of the boys cared about her. They stirred from their sleep to move to a more comfortable position and continued sleeping. Anna looked up at the leader for help.

" Wake up!" Alex raised his voice and even kicked them, but it worked. They were stirring from their sleeps and a series of grunts were voiced out as the woke up from their sleep.

Oh poor boys..

" What time is it ?" Ivan groggily looked around, trying to find the clock which was located just beside her television.

" I'm so sorry.. Please go home now.. You guys must be very tired," she helped Ivan and Sean up from the floor. Oh, her heart was feeling so bad, seeing her friends so tired. Why did she go on and on, not noticing how exhausted her friends were?!

" Ivan, you will have to follow them home tonight.." Alex spoke to Ivan earning a confused look from them. What does he mean by that?

" What do you mean?" He asked with an eyebrow raised.

" I'll be staying here tonight.." Alex plainly voiced out. Ivan didn't drive today, he came with Alex, so he had to hitch the ride from either Chandler or Sean. Wait .. What?! Why is he staying in Anna's apartment tonight?!

" Wait .. what?" She whispered to Alex who was beside her.

" I'm staying here tonight.." he turned his head to look at Anna with a very determined look. He is not going to leave Anna alone tonight, not after what happened earlier. He knows Anna needs company beside her at a time like this. Since his brother can't be here, he will..
