Chapter 43: Please..

Hello dear readers, on the last chapter Anna had an car accident. Alex and the gang had immediately send her to the hospital. Lets continue..

3 Days later..

Anna was at home reading a magazine, flipping through random pages while the television is on, playing in the background .. She wants the sound from the television to make the atmosphere less lonely.. She turned her head towards the kitchen when she felt throat a little dry. She then took up her crutches that were near her and limped her way towards the kitchen but at this very moment, her doorbell rang. She changed her tracks and head towards the door instead. She opened the door and saw her male best friend.

" Hey babe! Have you eaten?" Alex asked while lifting up a bag of food up to her eye level. She smiled at him..

" You bought food" She smiled as he nodded..

" I bought something new to try," he made his way inside her house, closing the door behind him. He helped her to the dining chair. He then settled the food on the table, opening the container lids.

"Alex.." She called him for his attention.

" I need a glass of water.. I'm really thirsty.. Can you..." She didn't need to finish her sentence. Alex was already on the way to her water jug, pouring a glass of water for her, passing it to her. He is really an awesome friend.

" Thank you.." She took the cup with both hands, drinking it fast.. She looked like she have not had water for days.. Alex looked at her gulping the entire glass of water. She placed the empty glass on the table as she licked her lips.

" Woah.. Have you not been drinking for days?" He teased her a little..

" I can't really move around.. I'll drink when I can." She explained herself.. Alex took out a pair of chopsticks from the plastic, picking up a piece of chicken and placed it right in front of her mouth..

" Try this.." She obeyed fast by opening her mouth, allowing the chicken to fall in as she chewed. The flavour was new to her, but it was to her liking. It was a little spicy and savoury at the same time.

" Mmmmm.. This is yummy.." She squealed in delight! She pulled the whole container to herself while Alex chopsticks were in mid air, frozen at her action. 

" At least let me try a piece.." She chuckled when he said that. She took his chopsticks and picked up a chicken, feeding it to him. He gladly took it and nodded in satisfaction. It might be spicy and savoury to Anna but this might be the sweetest chicken he ever eaten.

Pretty sure it's not about the chicken now.

" Do you want one more?" She asked while he nodded. That was when she decided to be playful. She took another piece and place it near his mouth but the moment he came nearer and opened his mouth, she moved her hand placing the chicken into her own mouth instead. Alex still had his mouth opened, She chuckled at his reaction. He closed his mouth and looked at her, shocked..

" Babe.. what are you doing?" He asked, a little confused..

" What am I doing?" She acted innocent, trying her best not to smile.

" Give me one more please?" If she wants to play. He can play with her..

She picked up another piece of chicken and placed it near his mouth.. This time he grinned and grabbed her hand to stay still.. He got up from the chair and went nearer to her face. Not the chicken. Her face. That was when their eyes met. She swallowed her saliva, still looking into his eyes. He leaned in even closer to her.. His lips was just two inches away from her lips. She didn't know what to do. Her mind and body froze when he was close. When Alex has enough fun, he pulled away from her, taking the piece of chicken from the chopsticks as he sat back down and chewed. Looking smug while Anna was now the one who still had her chopstick in mid air..
