Chapter 8

Omkara POV

I woke up and stretched.
I looked out of the window and realise that it was sunset as I look at my night stand on the clock 7.30pm.
I go to my closet and grab a shirt and black jeans .
In super speed I went to my bathroom , I shower and changed into my clothes .
But then suddenly I heard a voice coming across the ballroom, I quickly get out from my room and me the way to where the voices coming from .

"What are you doing?" I asked .
"You asked us to get the ballroom ready for event as you're hosting party tonight master" one of the servant said .

Oh shit !

"How could I forget about the party tonight!?"

"Thank you for reminding me" I said then speed up to my room.

How could I forget the party? Well that's what happen when your entire mind becomes occupied at one thing or in my case one person ....Gauri ...

I wonder what she is doing right now .

I should probably ask her to get ready for tonight since she will be accompanying me and with that I make my way towards her room.

Gauri POV

I just woke a few minutes ago and was rubbing my eyes with my hand when I heard the door knock .

"Come in" I replied groggily.

The door opened revealed Omkara .
My eyes widened but I continued to act normal.

"I'm sorry if I woke you up" he says going to leave .

But I stop him then say , "Don't worry you didn't"
To save me from another awkward moment like this after a few hours .

He smiles then sit on the edge of the bed in super vampire speed and then says " I wanted to tell you to get ready because I have party tonight"

I nod than curiously yet carefully ask "I'm sorry for asking but what's the occasion?"

He looked at me for a minute as if dazed by something than give a toothy grin showing his fangs.

"It's my birthday" he said.

I nod then say "Happy Birthday"

"Thanks" he says still smiling and gets ready to leave.

"Be ready by 10pm" he said.
I nod as I watch him leave the room .

This is my chance , I might finally get out from here .
I thought and no doubt I wasn't going to let this opportunity skip from my hands.

The thought made me happy and I truly smiled for once in at least a week .

I worked up a plan in my head. I looked outside my window and see that my room is not that high up and if I jump with the right footwear , I'll probably make it and since it is on the back side of the house , no one will probably notice because of the noise and chatter of his guest .

After coming up with a perfect plan , I looked at the clock on the night stand 8.30pm. I get up and make my way to the bathroom . I strip my clothes and took a warm shower .

After a good 30 minutes I was done showering when I heard a knock on the door . I wrapped securely myself in two towels , one for my hair and another for my body .
