Chapter 16

I went up to my new room and grabbed a pair of white tank top and peach pink cardigan and denim jeans with a pair of dark brown lace up ankle boots. I go to the bathroom and strip up my bloody clothes and hop in the shower letting the water flow over my body a minutes. After Satisfied that I'm clean , I changed into my outfit and blow dry my wet hair ; putting them in a messy bun above the nape of my neck . I was still surprised that Omkara asked me to go for a walk with him , he seems like a very conservative person but seems like I'm wrong .

I sighed and get out of my room and go downstairs to find Omkara siting on the couch watching tv . He noticed me and got up closing the television.

"You know we can go later if  you're watching tv" I said nervously .

"Don't worry , it's okay let's go" he say going to the door and out to a beautiful garden while I followed him behind folding my arms on my chest .

Soon we were walking side by side on a pathway from the garden with trees on the either side of us and sparkling fire flies .

"This is so beautiful" I said looking at the willow trees with fireflies roaming here and there . It was just like all of it come out of a fairy tale .

"This is one of my favourite places and also the reason why I got my house built here . It reminded me what beauty was until I met you" he said whispering the last part so I couldn't make it clearly but I got idea what he tried so say causing me blush like tomato.

He called me beautiful. I smiled as we continued to walk side by side in comfortable silence when Omkara suddenly decided to break it "so tell me more about your family . I mean you never mentioned them"he says as he sit down on a stone seat and that's when I notice we reached at the end of the river.

I sighed and sit on the stone opposite him undoing the laces of my shoe .

"My parents were extremely busy people but loving at the same time . They would gone at time but they would really care about me and got me everything I liked . I used to go the school with the latest hand phones and cars but they never let money ruin our family values . They will mostly leave me home for a week under the care of my grandma when I was young but I know they did that to give me the life I wanted . I know they love me and probably still do." I say shakily as tears falls from eyes thinking about my family .

"But they must be heartbroken and thinking I'm dead" I say as son escaped my lips for the first time in his presence . Suddenly I feel a pair of strong arms around me pulling me to the persons chest .

"I'm sorry" I heard Omkara whisper and for a few minute I stay in his arms ; feeling better .

After few minute I pull away and smile while wiping my tears from my eyes and we stay in silence .

I put my boots at the corner of the stone and start to pulling end of my jeans up abit so they don't get wet from what I was about to do as Omkara watched me carefully.

"What are you doing?" He asked looking at me as I shrug and finally put my feet in cold river loving the feeling .

I smile at him ; then said "it's fun , you should do it too"

He smiles at me and begin taking off his shoes putting his pale feet in the water beside me .

"You're right , this feels pretty nice" he says moving his toes in the water causing me to laugh and nod lightening my mood .

After a few second, I took a deep breath and said "so why don't you tell me about you're family and you're self ?"

He suddenly look a bit distant and I quickly add "if you want to, I mean"
