Falling for the beast - short story (completed)

Chapter 13

Gauri's POV

I hugged myself tighter as I hurriedly got up and turned around to find no one there ; but I know someone is watching me . My hair blow in front of my eyes from the wind coming in  from the window but then I realised that I never opened my window .

I make my way to it and close . I wasn't scared of him but rather angry for him so much of control over me like a pet . He was so nice to me before but when I heard his voice in the telephone it was some sort sadistic psychopath was taking to me or more like threatening me , it's like him being nice was just an illusion.

Suddenly I felt a hand grip on my upper arm and twist that forcing me to look into a familiar pair of eyes . I feel the ground underneath me vanish as I hit back to the wall as he pinned my arms above head and stare in to tears stained eyes .

"You did a very bad thing , Gauri" he says .

"What do you want from me ?" I ask looking at him ; straight into his eyes .

"Only what belong to me" he says as he bring near his mouth near my neck .

Oh no

I try to get out of his grip as I realise what he is about to do ; but he just tightened his grip .

"Stay still or it will be more painful than its needs to be" Omkara said as he licked my vein .

"Omkara please don't" I whimpered .

"I'm sorry jaan" he says and kisses my neck after that ; what I felt was an excruciating pain in my neck as his fangs extend into my vein.

I feel the life being sucked of me as he drinks from my vein . I suddenly starts to feel fuzzy as a black spot starts to appear my vision. I feel him get out his fangs out of my neck and my hand dazedly makes it ways to the punctured holes .

"I'm sorry but there's no way" is a last word I heard by a distant voice before everything goes black .

Omkara POV

I feel so horrible bitting her again . It was like my stomach had dropped but there is no other way for her to come with me without screaming entire way .
I was still abit shock that she was the first person who had managed to escape from me and still be alive . I have to admit that I have to give  her a credit for that .

I picked her unconscious body in my arms ; lifting it closer to my chest protectively. She looked so peaceful asleep I thought as smile curved my lips up . I know she might never forgive me but if I didn't take her home ; some other vampire would .

I still remember how others looked at her during the auctions and I'm not going to let them to take advantage on her . She is belong to me and only to me.

I don't know but I feel so overprotective of her .  I don't know this feeling but I know I like it .
She makes me feel so happy and that is saying something . She makes me admire the little things that she does ; like when her chest heaves when she breath ; like the sound of her heart beats which sounds like melody to me .
I know this might be stupid but every beast needs a beauty to take care and help him to keep sane and I think I have finally found mine .

Whenever she's near ; I don't feel like decapitating someone for fun ; just to watch their fear .
I just want to be a better person for her .
Even though she knows about me ; my killings habits but she didn't even take the conversation there . She talked to me as she was having a normal conversation. She talked to me ...like taking to a friend.  I knew there were hardly any possibilities for me to be that anymore , I doubt that she would want to see me rather than talk to me and be my friend but so she a box of full of surprises . I would only know after she wakes up .

Sighing I started carry  her in my arms and about few hours we were right in front of my mansion.
I could feel she was shivering because it was mid October and she was wearing a tank top and a short pyjama.  I brought her close to my body but it wouldn't do any help as I don't have any body heat .

I entered the house and speed to the guest room which I got ready specially for her . I brought her a whole new wardrobe; I hope she likes it .
I don't know why but I wanted to make her smile and happy .  I lay her down on the bed and covered her body with the duvet .

I make sure the window is locked and the door is locked while going out and turning the lights off .
