Chapter 19

Gauri POV

I could feel my head splitting open as I groaned and try to open my eyes to find myself in a large bedroom with red velvet coloured walls , a dresser , a wardrobe and a cute sofa set on the corner of the room . The room was beautiful but the question is what am I doing here ?

Where am I ?

The I realised that I was kidnapped by for the second time . Why does this kind of shittt always happen to me? I take a deep breath and slowly get up my back which is resting with the bed frame . I think of Omkara and what he might be doing then I realise what Daksh has told me earlier that Omkara changed for me. I wonder why ? Why I mean I'm not special while he looks like some kind of Greek god to me ; Handsome , well built and he is very kind to me."

"Oh Sankerji! Could things get anymore confuse?"

As if on cue the door opened to reveal the one and only "Daksh" He looked at me then smirks and said

"I see you're finally awake" he came towards me and sits on the edge of the bed .

I put my hand on my head and emotionlessly say "why?"

"What do you-" he begins to say confused but I break him off and say

"Why did you take me?" I ask looking at him .

He smirks vanished and he seems lost.

"For Revenge, Gauri" he replies coming back to reality .

I nod then look down as he stares at me confused.

"Aren't you going to ask what he did or how I got to know your name?" He ask curiously.

"It's not my business and you probably heard Omkara saying it" I reply even though I was dying to know .

He looks at me then say "you should be happy cause I saved you from him"

I have a bitter laugh and say "I'll never going to be safe till I'm with my family but I can't let that happen . I rather stay here then go to my family knowing that I'll be putting them in danger."

He looks at me curiously. Minutes passed by but he doesn't look away .

"What?" I ask.

"Nothing, you're just a first that I met whom ever said that" he replies still staring at me .

I look down feeling uncomfortable under his gaze . I don't know but I never felt uncomfortable Omkara but Daksh giving me this really bad vibes making me feel to hide in a corner until he leaves but I never show. I will never show it . I don't want to be known as a sick rude person but I guess my kindness will also be the death of me .

I look up and Daksh hurriedly looks down. He gets up .

"I'll bring you some food , the clothes are in the dresser . The bathroom is there , why don't you take shower ? It will help with the headache." He says and with that he leaves the room locking it behind him.

I feel so captivated here . Omkara never locked me in the room  and I had to get out here fast , one way or another . I looked here and there to find some source of escape but unlucky me as there was none . The window was locked and breaking it is impossible.

But I couldn't help but to think the longing emotion that Daksh was wearing and the thought of it , itself made me to run away from here very badly . It was like one minute he was cocky and the next he was creepy then he was amused then finally his emotions changed to lust and longing . This guys seriously had some issues but I didn't want to wait here and find out . I wanted to go back Omkara . He was kind , sweet ,nice and fun . Well not forgetting he is sexy and that long raven hair .... uffoo Gauri what's wrong with you.

I just hope that somewhere out there Omkara is searching for me , I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't  , I mean what I am to him other than a bought material but another feeling in the pit of my stomach told me he would come for me sooner or later but he would .

Sighing I get up and go to the window moving the curtain to the side and looked outside . The view itself made me shake . We were in a forest and if you looked closely you will see the ground we were on was higher than the ground on the other side ; indicating were actually on the cliff and one wrong direction could be the end of me , just like that .

I take a deep breath and make my way to the dresser ; grabbing a pair of clothes and going to the bathroom to shower.

I come out from the bathroom , dressed up in a pair of black jersey top , black jeans and a snickers . I had worked up a plan in my head and I know it would hardly work but I'll try either way .

I heard the knock on the door and after a few second it flew opened to reveal Daksh holding a tray of food on his hand . He smiled at me as he saw I'm cleaned up and dressed .

"I brought you food" he said.

I nodded and looked at the open door which had key dangling from the door knob.

Time to put my plan on action .

"By the way , I want your earlier clothes . I have to burn them or it would be much easier to find you." He says .

"Why Don't  you just let me go?" I say making him stop on his track and turned around , his expression was very angry .

"Because I want to revenge! He broke my Sister's heart! And she committed suicide because of him! I want him to feel broken !! So either way you're not leaving or don't even  try it!" He shouted at me causing my heart beat speed up but luckily I was managed to keep my emotionless face on .

He just look at my expression then says "I'm sorry ...I just lost it"

"It's okay , my clothes are in the bathroom" I say still emotionless.

I watch him disappear into bathroom and as soon as he does I get up from the bed , running out to the door and locking it in the process to by me some time .

The adrenaline was pumping through my veins. I ran down to the stairs when I heard banging .

"Gauri ! Open the dam door!" Daksh was shouting.

I ignored him knowing the door won't hold him any longer . I rushed down the stairs and saw a door at the end of the living room .

I turn the door knob and luckily it opened to reveal my freedom but I know that I wasn't free yet .  I began to run out of the house as fast as I could I heard the loud bang indicating he broke the door .

That made me run even faster , when suddenly I heard a feet behind me . I didn't need to turn around to know how it was .

He was such a fast runner ,but I wasn't going to give up even though my chances of escape were very thin as his footsteps become closer and closer and suddenly I was tackled to the ground .

I looked at the person and saw an angry looking Daksh pinning my arms above my hand as I thrashed and squirmed underneath him .

"Let me go!" I spat at him.
He tightened his hold on my wrist which would be bruised by now .

"I think I made that pretty clear" he said throwing me on his broad shoulder like I weighed nothing.

"Put me down!" I shouted while punching his back causing him to chuckle . He suddenly turned making my head to hit a near by tree hard .

And with that everything went black .
