Chapter 20

I sat up with a jolt as I felt something cold on my forehead. I looked up and saw Daksh putting ice on my wound. I could smell something, metallic and realization hit me that I was blood.

'What happened?" I ask trying to sit up but he pushed me back down.

"You hit your head with a tree the passed out" he said.

He removed the ice and grabbed cotton soaked in alcohol.

"This will be hurt a bit" he said and placed the cotton on my wound causing me to flinch and a tear escaped from my eyes and Daksh wipes it. After an hour Daksh was done and the wound on my forehead was dressed not to mention I was nauseous from the smell of the blood and alcohol. I just wanted to puke my guts out.

Daksh gets up from beside me and says "I'll be back in a minute" I nod in reply I mean what was I supposed to say?

Daksh left and locked the door and I noticed my surrounding. I was in the same room and unluckily there was a new door attached to it meaning he did break the one earlier.

My hand made it way to the wound on my forehead. I cautiously got out of bed holding the
Bed post for a few minutes because of the dizziness, then I cautiously made my way to the mirror in the bathroom. Grabbing things to support, finally I made my way to the bathroom and saw my reflection on the mirror.

My raven hair was messy and parts of them were covered in blood but the thing that made my eyes widen was the bandage on my forehead. Even though Daksh changed it few second ago, it began to soak in blood.

A tear fell from my eyes, why did this happen to me? Why not other person? I had a loving family and had everything that I wanted. I admit my life was tuff something, but it was cheerful the other.
But even after everything was taken from me, Omkara made me feel happy. Even though I was depressed in the beginning I learned to love it there. Omkara was so kind and never had he shouted at me or lost patience. Never once in my life had I felt captive after I found out about the law.

Then there was Daksh. Everything about him made me feel so uncomfortable and now I realised I just wanted omkara back. He was much much better than Daksh who I barely know.

Daksh makes me feel like I am a prisoner and I don't want to be here one second,

Suddenly I come back to reality when I feel someone touching my shoulder.

"Are you okay, Gauri?" Daksh asks.

I sigh and look at him. I nod and make my way back to bed with his help. I look at the corner of the bed, there was a tray of food.

I still felt nauseous from earlier and sight of food make me want to puke.

He placed the tray in front of me and sat on the chair opposite the bed.

"Eat, then you have to take these pills so they could help you sleep" he said but I just continued to stare at him as tear falls from my eyes.

"I'm not hungry" I said.

He sighed and said "Gauri, we can do this easy way or the hard way. Now be a good girl and eat or ill force you to"

I flinch and say "Forcing me won't do you any good because ill puke it all out. You don't don't care about me so why don't you just let me starve or do me a favour and kill me if you can't take me back to omkara. In that way I won't have to bare any of this and you will have your so-called revenger or whatever worth."

He looked at me shocked as I bring my hand to wipe the tear but flinch as I see the dark purple coloured bruise on my wrist given by Daksh from earlier.

I hear foot steps approaching my bed and then bed dip inside. My heart began to race and I became scared shitless. I don't know why but I knew whatever he would do won't be the what I want.

I looked up at his eyes and starts caressing my cheeks with his hands and then he crashes his lips on mine causing me to scream but he doesn't budge. I try to him off me but he didn't move. Finally, after few minutes I pushed him off me making him fall to the floor.

I began to sob feeling disgusted at the fact of being violated. He gets up and starts coming near or me making me sob harder.

"Stay away from me, you monster!" I shout causing him to stop in his tracks.

"Gauri, we can't talk about this later but right now you should eat something" Daksh said grabbing the tray of food bringing it near.

"No!! just stay away from me you Bas***d!! You've probably drugged it so you can violate me again!!!!"  I shout sobbing in the process.

"Gauri, Love- "he begins to say but I cut him off.

"Tell me the real reason why you took me?" I says my body shaking from the sobs I was trying to stop.

He sighs then says "It's true that I wanted to revenge but the real reason was.............

"Because I'm in love with you and after I kill omkara we can be together forever"

'I love you, Gauri"
