Finally! it's Auction night! Instead of feeling forced to go there because of Kiara, I might as well enjoy the night. right? I'm suddenly interested in bidding. I hope I get to buy something special. We're already at the location where the auction will take place. One word: it's majestic.

Annnnnnd of course we're closer to the stage. It's been an hour, people are gradually coming in, settling themselves with the seats. Some men are dressed in suits, some are tux. Some women are dressed with long dresses, some are not. Either way, they're all luxurious looking. Somehow, I feel intimidated but shrugged it off.
"GIRL!!! *screech*" by that voice and screech I already knew who is it.
She greeted me with so much passion as she hug me so tightly, I might explode. She's adorable and sexy at the same time, no wonder why her "daddy" loves her so much. I mean who can pull themselves off just like that? sexy and cute at the same time?
It's really true that time passed by so quickly when you're happy, I didn't noticed that it's been an hour as we're ecstatic conversing with one another. All of the seats are occupied already, and people are settled in. After a minute it started.
It's been an hour, lot of items are sold already but I haven't acquire anything. Well guess what, it's because Kiara obtain half of them. which is absolutely petrifying because how in the hell does her money came from?!
"The last item is a jewelry, a pair made by jewellvx. A luxurious jewel maker company, inspired by Mr. Steven G. Mason. A ring with-" I'm interrupted listening because Ethan tries conversing with me.
"That would be perfect if you're the one who'll wear it, baby." Ethan suggest.
"No, I'm not worthy for th-" I'm interrupted when Ethan, out of nowhere suddenly bids. I'm shocked, like what the... Ethan!
The bidding continues, it's getting out of hand! The bid went higher and higher!
"Ethan please stop! this is crazy!" I'm panicking already.
"shush baby, you deserve that ring and I will get it for you." He respond.
I can see the determination in his eyes as he bids for the ring. I don't know what to feel, it's really getting out of hand because there's also someone at the middle upper seats who's also determined to obtain the ring.
Annnnnd guess what, the ironic thing is... that kind of ring is something I've received in the past.
"The ring is sold at $__, the bidder is-" the host announce.
"GODDVNGGIT!" Ethan groaned.
"hey, it's okay Ethan. It's only a ring, calm down." I console him.
"Mr. Brennan Huxley! please redeem your item-" the host continues as the audience clap their hands.
I don't know what to feel and say. It just all makes sense now. Ethan took my hand with his and look at me with determine yet concerned eyes.
"I love you epiphany." Ethan utter as he gaze upon my eyes and kiss the knuckles of my hand.
"Let's just ignore him, okay?" I said.
Brennan redeem the rings, he gave us a cryptic look before he went back to his seat. I don't want to assume things, I'm just going to shrugged this off like I always do.
The auction ended and we leave.
I can't help but wonder that this whole thing is getting ridiculous... wherever I am, he's there too. It's annoying, like how come?! I'm really starting to doubt. and that ring! I don't mind his business but I cant help thinking what reasons does he have to acquire such ring? I mean I dont mind him obtaining it because he will marry someone new but for real? it's like a mockery to me because it is the same type of ring as our wedding ring!
