A/N: ****Trigger warning – eating disorder****

Dianne's POV

It's Monday morning, 6:30am. I'm up bright and early to go to my first session with Joe today. I'm really excited to get going and see how well he can dance.

I put on some leggings, a black top with long sleeves that have openings on the side, and some nike trainers. I put my hair in a half up-half down, tying the top section into a bun and then applying a little bit of mascara to my lashes. I grab my phone and head out to the kitchen. I made myself some toast with vegemite on it, and a green juice before sitting at the counter and going on my phone. I aimlessly sifted through my social medias as well as ordering a car to take me to the studio before messaging Joe:

Hey Joseph! I hope you are up and ready for a long day of rehearsals, bring lots of water and a towel and be prepared to dance your butt off hehehehe, Dianne xo

I sent the message and then put away my dishes and chucked out my uneaten food. I refused to eat more than half a piece of toast, each morning, I don't need the extra carbs. I'm probably one of the biggest pro dancers so I need to lose a few.

I grab my water bottle, keys, dance bag and headphones and go to head off.

"Dianne!" I turn around to see Anthony in the door way of our bedroom,

"Are you gonna leave without giving me a kiss goodbye?" I smile and give him a quick peck before heading out the door, putting my headphones in and walking to the car that was waiting for me downstairs.

I jumped in and greeted the driver before going back to listening to my music. Soon after I got a notification, Joe had replied back to my message.

Hey Di, I have been up since 5:30 because I was so excited to get started! I am so ready to work hard. Dancing shoes on and water bottle in hand, all ready to go, although what do I need the towel for? Joe

I have a quick chuckle to myself before replying back with

You'll see (;

Its been about 5 hours since Joe and I began rehearsals. We did a VT for the first live show and have done some filming of me teaching him the dance we are doing, which is a Jive. Its going reasonably well considering its only the first day, but he is slowly starting to become less awkward with his moves and loosen up a little. We are now sitting in the studio on a lunch break, and Joe is absolutely knackered already.

"okay Dianne, now I understand why you told me to bring the towel, I am sweating so much I could fill a pool" he says with an exasperated tone as he wipes the sweat of his head. I chuckle at his comment, before hearing a knock on the door, "come in" we both said in unison. A man walked in with two bags, food for our lunch break, I stand up and grab them from him, thanking him for his time. I take a seat back next to Joe on the floor, unpacking the bags, before striking up a conversation.

"So Joe, do you have a girlfriend?" I ask curiously as I hand him his food,

"Nah I don't, I wish though. The last year and a half I really wanted to settle down and get into a long term relationship as I'm getting to that stage where I kind of want a constant person now instead of the casual hook ups and what not, but because of what I do its really hard to find someone." He replies while opening the container and eating the pasta.

"What makes it hard?" I question, I mean he's a really attractive guy, funny, nice, like what's hard about it.

"Well, it's hard to know who wants to be with me for me and who wants to be with me for the fame that comes with it you know. I've been on so many dates with girls in the past year who only want money or followers out of it, it's happened so many times that I can tell a girl's intentions within the first half hour of a date. Now I've kind of just stopped trying, hoping love will come to me if I'm patient." He replies with a sad look in his eyes, it made my heart flip, but I'm not too sure why.

"And plus I have bigger things to worry about like winning strictly for you" he added with a smile. Wow he deserves better, what a genuine guy.

We continued chatting while eating our lunch. I ate maybe a third of my salad, I wasn't really that hungry anyway.

"Hey Di, aren't you starving? You've hardly touched your food." He laughs. I laugh with him hoping to avoid this conversation,

"Right, come on Joseph, you've had a long enough break, time to get back into it for another 5 hours"

He groaned as I helped him up off the floor and went to the positions we had left off in before we had lunch. This was going to be a long day.
