Russian-Tournament-Chapter-1

-STORY START-

-ATHENA'S POV-

-NEXT DAY-

Morning came and still half asleep you reached for your phone and saw it was 9:00 you would be arriving there at 10...so you had a whole hour, you sat slightly up in bed and rested you back against the wall.

Your thoughts: It's been a while since I've travelled to Russia, but I think I can still speak it.

Then a sudden thought crossed your mind, you gasped just realising what team would be the ones to beat at the Russian tournament...from what you remember, heard and read it was...The Demolition Boys.

You: Oh those guys are hard core...I remember when I got offered a place there but turned it down...not to mention the horrific way of training; can't believe I sustained that for several months before realising how bad it was. Strange I don't remember meeting the head of the Abby there...maybe this time I will.

You drew back your curtain and saw it was indeed a typical Russian morning, so you grabbed a clean set of clothes and pegged it to the bathroom.

Once you were changed you made your way to see if the other lads were awake.

Announcer: We have now pulled in at Moscow Station all those wishing to depart for this destination may now do so, have a pleasant stay.

You were about to knock on the door when it slid open and you jumped aside to see Tyson come shooting out

Tyson: Alright we're here boys!

Kenny: Tyson, I'm not ready yet

Tyson: Catch ya later!

He then made a run for the exit

You: 1) he didn't even see me and 2) is he really going to parade around in his normal clothes out there?! Its' freezing!

You sighed and quickly returned to your room and saw Kai wasn't there, so you grabbed your bag and slipped on your coat and returned to the hallway.

Voice: Hi Athena

You gasped and turned to see Ray

You: oh it's you, gosh you gave me a fright

Ray: Oh I'm sorry

You: It's ok, well are ya ready?

Ray: I think so

Kenny: Hey Athena, oh wow your Russian fur coat is amazing

You: Oh I know, thanks I got it as a gift from the previous head of the Russian BBA, not actually sure who runs it now

Kenny: Hmm interesting

Max: Well we better get Tyson he's going to need this

You all then made a run for the exit too and saw Tyson standing outside shivering.

Tyson: Whoa! Freezing! It's like a meat locker out here!

Max then threw Tyson his BBA coat

You: That's why you should wrap up you silly thing

Kenny: I told you wait but oh no not Tyson

Voice: Well are we going?

You gasped and turned to face Kai

You: There you are

Kai: Yeah well are you moving

You: um ok...

You all then made your way out the station and into the streets of Moscow

Tyson: Achoo! Wow it must be like a million degrees below 0 out here!

Kenny: We're almost as far north as Alaska you know, and wait until the sun goes down the temperature drops by 10 degrees

Ray: You better watch it Tyson, we can't afford to have you catch a cold

Max: Yeah no kidding

Tyson: Oh, don't worry about me, I've never been sick a day in my life- achoo!

You: Maybe so, but there's a first time for everything; P

Kenny: I say we get him to the hotel before he gets any worse guys

Ray: Don't worry about him chief, he'll survive

Max: Yeah he's way to stubborn and excited to get sick

Tyson: Come on! You guys coming or what?!

So you all carried on walking

Tyson: Oh does anyone know where we're going?

Kenny: According to my calculations we're almost there

Max: You sure you can read that map chief?

Kenny: Then again my Russian's a little rusty

Kai then came over and took the map from Kenny and gave it a simple glace then looked up ahead of you all.

Kai: Hmm, let's see here...

Ray: Well are we even close?

Kai said nothing and turned to walk away and every remained still for a moment

Tyson: Ah I'm having the time of my life, HEY does anybody know where we're going?!

Kai: Just zip it and follow me ok

Max: Sounds like they're married

Ray: Yeah no kidding

Kenny: Hey Tyson. Don't let them get underneath your skin, they're just having come fun

Tyson: Oh boy, yeah they're regular comedians

You: Come on you silly thing, let's go

So you waited for Tyson and you followed the rest of the guys behind Kai.

Then you noticed you were coming to what appeared to be an almost familiar place.

It was a huge stone building with metal doors that was surrounded by 2ft silver metal bars

You: Hmm...

Then you all stopped as you saw a group of 3 bladers blading in a dish outside the building.

Kenny: Oh wow!

Tyson: Alright!

Kenny: It always amazes me how huge Beyblading is around the world

Then a purple blade went flying out the dish and Tyson caught it.

Tyson: Got it!

The kids gave you all a strange defensive look and one ran away

Tyson: Hey what's his problem anyway

Kenny: I don't think they're used to seeing many tourists

Tyson: Oh yeah, hey guys, we're not here to steal your blades we have our own see?

The kids only responded in silence with those same expressions.

Voice: Ah there you are; you must be the famous Bladebreakers
