Russian-Tournament-Chapter-5

-STORY START-

-ATHENA'S POV-

-NEXT DAY-

Morning was here and you quickly got ready and went to make sure your arrangements were done dusted and ready to go for this morning.

As you were waiting you were wondering once more about Kai, all you wanted was for him to be alright and ready at the tournament with you all.

As you were thinking the BBA bus pulled up, thankfully on time.

You told the driver to wait a few minutes just so the team would be here.

Not long after Kenny, Ray and Max came out...as usual without Tyson.

You: He's running around getting ready isn't he?

Ray: He sure is

You: Oh there he is!

Tyson: Hey guys don't leave without me!

Ray: Nice job, any longer and we would have to forfeit!

Kenny: And don't tell me you didn't hear your alarm.

Max: Yeah because I heard it out in the hallway

Tyson: Gimmie a break will you, I'm not a morning man

You: Just get your butts on the bloody bus will you!

So they did and Tyson was still looking around hoping- like you- Kai would show up.

You: Are you worried?

Tyson: Well yeah

You: He'll show up, I'm sure of it

Tyson: I hope so or everything we trained for is down the drain

You: I'm sure he is

Tyson: I hope

Your thoughts: Yeah...me too

In no time you had all arrived at the stadium which was basically the Lazar Palace remodelled into a Bey Stadium

Tyson: Check it out!

Max: It looked like some sort of a Royal palace

Kenny: As a matter of fact, it was Max

You: Certainly was, this was the Palace where Lazar lived before the 1917 Russian revolution. And it was purchased by the Russian Beyblade federation, they refurbished and remade the whole thing into a Beystadium

Ray: Whoever built this didn't have a clue about what he was doing- I mean where's the jumbo screen?

You: Oh you men! Come on!

You then proceeded to the entrance and not long into walking inside did you see the White Tigers.

Tyson: Hello!!!!

Lee: Well, well

Ray: Nice to see you Lee

Lee: Yeah and it's nice to see you again too Ray

You: Hi Mariah, how are you?

Mariah: Oh just fine thanks

You both smiled and it made you happy knowing that there was a smooth friendly relationship between you all now.

Max: Mom!

You all then turned around to see Judy and the All-stars

You: Morning

Max: Are you guys fighting this morning?

Michael: First match of the tournament, we're up against the Demolition Boys, you guys should check it out; it's gonna be sweet

You: I look forward to seeing how you fare

Tyson: Those creeps from the Abbey? How'd they manage to worm they way into the tournament

Emily: Because they're Russia's defending Champions

You: And that means they automatically qualify for the tournament, according to international rules that is

Emily: We've ruled out their hometown advantage and based on the extensive data we have on them, our win is guaranteed

Steve: Yeah these boys are gonna get smoked

Tyson: Don't be so sure, you'll need more than Data

Michael: Yeah right

You were in the audience sitting down waiting for the Tournament to start

DJ: I know you're all really excited to start but first we have a little surprise

Tyson: Man he's killing us here! I can't wait

DJ: So are you all ready to meet our special guest. Please give a warm welcome to the President of Biovault corporation- Director Boris!

Everyone then turned their attention to a well decorated box that overlooked the stadium

Your thoughts: I still don't like this guy

Boris: As the official sponsor of the World Championships let me extend my warmest welcome to all the contestants as well as the fans who have come from all over the world to be here. And as we are here we remember that is not only to be a competition- there's more, let's all keep in mind Beyblade is about fair play and friendship and about respecting your competition and the rules that have been set down. Here at Biovault we dedicate ourselves to supporting the greatest sport on earth and its greatness come from those who respect's it's code of ethics.

Now as the competing teams prepare for battle, I wish you all luck and may the best Beyblader rise to the top! I declare the World Championship open!

Everyone wildly cheered!

DJ: Thank you for the stirring speech Boris I almost stayed awake through the whole thing! Ok I think we've kept you in suspense long enough, let's get our first battle underway now introducing the All-stars
