-STORY START-

-ATHENA'S POV-

Once you landed you were all met with Voltaire, also as you were told was Kai's grandfather. So, you all left for the locker room to prep, as you all sat there you knew in a short while fans would be gathering, and you would be able to get a proper look at the Bladebreakers.

You were in deep thought about the match and you couldn't help but feel more rage and anger build inside you and you felt that Kai of all of them needed to pay for it.

You: I will have to teach him a lesson

Tala: What's up with you princess?

You: Don't call me that!

Spencer: Lighten up, what's wrong?

You: Nothing is wrong with me! I just want to get on with this tournament, I don't like waiting

Boris: Now Athena calm down, control your energy and save it for the match or it will go to waste

You: You're right

You then remembered that one of your special features was being able to channel any energy you had into your blade, with it you had even more power; greater than anyone has ever seen. You were the world champion after all.

Boris: I just received word the Bladebreakers have arrived, let's go welcome them

All the boys went out first following Boris and you followed behind them. Soon you arrived at the foyer and you could just about see them through your Team.

Boris: We're so glad you could make it, to your final defeat

Tyson: OH YEAH!

Ray: Tyson!

Tyson: Ray!

Ray: Now is not the time to fight them ok? Too many people could get hurt if we Beybattle here

You: Like you all for example

Tyson: W...who said that?

Boris: Welcome our special team member

The Demolition Boys stepped aside revealing you to the Bladebreakers

You: Hi there

-KAI'S POV-

That same heart sinking feeling shot through you again seeing her there with them

Tyson: Athena! W...what are you wearing?!

Kenny: what's happened to you?!

Athena: Nothing you losers, don't act as if you know me either. I am and always have been a member of this team training all the Abbey students and fighting for the sake of the Biovault corporation!

You: That's not who you are you're-

Athena: Spare me your crap boys, we'll settle this in the dish

Boris: Run along to the locker room all of you; I'll be along shortly

So, they all left

You: There's something dark about her

Tyson: What did you do to our Captain?!

Boris: Nothing, she just came to her senses nothing serious

Ray: Oh really, because she doesn't do any of the stuff, she just said she does!

Boris: Well maybe so, but the girl is finally at home; little did you boys know she used to be a VERY ruthless Beyblader according to some secret files we came across, of course you know that Mr D...or have you neglected to tell your prize-winning team about their Captains little secret?

Boris shrieked an evil laughter as he left you all standing there confused even more but still filled with the same rage.

Silently you all went to the locker room while Mr D went to register you.

Ray: The Demolition Boys, I'm worried they're a complete mystery to us, only Kai and well if she was here Athena knows their power

Tyson: Hey, what are you worrying about Ray? We're a team they don't even stand a chance, we rule and the sooner we decide our beybattle order the sooner we win

Ray: Oh man

Max: That fan club really pumped him up

Tyson: Alright! I'll go first! Ok?

You: NO! I will beybattle first

Dizzy: I suggest you listen to Kai Tyson; he knows the Demolition Boys a lot better than anyone

Kenny: Dizzy's right, Kai is our best chance for an early victory, then we can study their moves. That will give you guys time to prepare yourselves

Tyson: Kai, you're even more quiet than usual today, hey is it because of Athena?

You: Don't worry about-

Ray: Come on Kai, it's so obvious you like her; I mean I do, I still do the sad thing is she doesn't want me, but she likes you, so best if you like her back, just put back any feelings and go with it for now

Tyson: Ray that's so nice

Kenny: Yeah Ray, and Kai-

You: Would you guys stop it! I don't love her ok?!

Tyson: Oh, we never said love...you did just now

Dizzy: Moving on boys come on!

Ray: Right, well I'll go after Kai, the Majestics suggested that Tyson go third ok?

Tyson: Ok

Max: Then we're ready to roll

Kenny: Ready? I sure hope so I have a feeling this won't be an easy match, and Robert did say this may be our only chance to beat these guys!

Tyson: After everything we've been through it all comes down to this, we're gonna win this match! Athena may not be with us guys and I don't know what sick thing Boris did to her, but we'll make her see what we're all about; maybe just maybe she'll snap out of it

You: Maybe, but I just realised what could be wrong

Ray: What is it Kai?

You: Boris said he had created programs to create many ultimate Beybladers and that they were injected straight into people's minds...I get this horrible feeling that's what he did to her

Max: Just erase her mind?

Ray: That would explain why she doesn't know us and more importantly why she's with them

You: I think that's its

Kenny: He brainwashed her!

Tyson: Well guys we'll have to fight them to win save the world and save our Captain! Together!

So, you all headed to the main stadium, you had friends all over the world watching and some even in the actual stadium watching you then and there.

There would be three matches each day for three days and the winner would be whoever won at least 2/3 rounds in a match.

DJ: TIME FOR THE FIRST SET! KAI OF THE BLADEBREAKERS FIGHTING-w...what? Ok...oh I see- LADIES AND GENTLEMEN A SMALL CHANGE OF PLANS FROM BORIS, F...FILLING IN FOR SPENCER WILL BE...A...Athena Starline!
