I woke up with a massive headache. Harry wasn't in the bed, I'm guessing he was in the shower. I got dressed and looked in the mirror, and I had huge bags under my eyes. I looked on the counter, and saw a blade. I picked it up slowly, why now? Aren't I happy? No, not happy at all. I tried to hold it in, all this that's happened. I took a shaky breath and set the blade down. God damnit, I promised Harry I'd try to stop. I walked away from the bathroom, slowly and quietly biting my lip. I'm not happy. Not at all. I took another deep breath and walked downstairs.
Harry wasn't in the bathroom, or the living room. "Guys?" I called through the whole house. All I heard was Anne in the kitchen. "Anne?" I called, going into the kitchen. She hugged me tightly and kissed my forehead. "Where's the others, and Harry?" I asked her silently, sitting down. She took a sip of her coffee and said, "Rebecca went with Harry to the market for a couple of things, and Denisse and Niall went out for the day." Just then, Maura came down. "Morning, Emily!" She cheered, hugging me tightly. "Morning, Maura." I repied, hugging her back and then pulling away to go back into our room. I was just about to go back to bed, when I heard the door open. "We're home!" I heard Rebecca call. I ran into the kitchen, to see Rebecca and Harry standing there. I ran to Harry and hugged him tightly. "Crap! Emily, why are you up so early?" Harry asked, as I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Because, I needed you." I replied softly. "You'll always...have me..." He whispered, with a bit of doubt in his eyes. "Haz, what's wrong?" I asked him.
He bit his lip and whispered, "I'mkindofsordofleaving..." he whispered, really soflty, I almost didn't hear it. "What?" I asked, a tear almost coming out of my eyes, but I bit them back. "I'm leaving." he replied, looking down. "Harry, you can't leave." I replied. "Emily, I'm just going to be out for a few days. I'm going to settle things..." he said, a tear falling from his eyes. "Settle things?" I asked, putting my hands on his shoulders. "Yes, Emily. I'm going to, I have to. I don't care, I can't stand seeing you like this." he said softly.
"You can't do this, you have no idea what he's capable of." I said, shaking his shoulders, trying to snap him into reality. "Emily, I have to. I don't know what he's capable of, you're right. But, I have to." he said, letting another tear fall. "Harry, i'm going with you then." I said, raising my eyebrows at him. "No Emily, you're not coming with me. It's dangerous." he said, taking a bag from the floor. Since when had he packed that? "Harry. Trust me, i've been through 'dangerous' things with him before." I said, pulling his shirt back to me. "Emily, trust me. I'll be fine. I love you. I'll be back in a few days, and If not, then you don't have to worry about me." he said going to the door. "Harry, I have to worry about you. I have every right to be worried about you, especially if you're going to see Rob. Please, let me come with you." I begged, tears flowing from my eyes freely now.
He wiped them off of my face and said, "Emily, I love you. Forever and always." he whispered, pressing his forehead against mine. "I love you too, Harry. Please, Harry, let me go too. Please?" I begged on my knees, in front of him with tears flowing from my eyes. "Okay, Emily. But you have to wait in the hotel." he replied. My ears perked up when he said okay, but then my shoulders slumped even more when he said I had to stay in the hotel. "Ugh, Harry come on! You know that we can kick-ass together, way better than just one of us." I said, revenge bubbling inside of me. "NO, Emily. You're staying in the god damn hotel. You're lucky I'm letting you come." he said, gripping my hands tightly. "Fine." I huffed through my breath and he kissed my head softly. "It's too dangerous, Emily." he said as he got in the car and we started driving to where we used to live. "Holy shit, you're shaking Harry." I said, looking down at his shaky hand, holding mine for dear life. "Well, I'm kind of nervous, Em. I am kind of going to 'talk' with your stepfather. But, he can't even let one word get in without pummeling somebody, so I'm technically fighting him..." Harry said, gripping my hand tighter. I looked over to him and nodded, knowing what he said was true...
This isn't going to go well...
