Background:
Same as Jeongin his life was simple and nice. Never took anything for granted. Always help others, even got part-time jobs just to save money or to give it to orphanages. One day his older sister Rachel got lung cancer but it was rapidly spreading. The next month was hard for everyone. Every day seeing the one they love the most gets worse and worse. Felix and his younger sister Olivia would spend most of their days in her room to keep her company to be with her a much as they can before she passes. As days passed his sister got worse and the bills went skyrocketing. His parents were never home as they worked day and night. Felix had to be the man of the house and had to take care of Rachel at the hospital and take Olivia to school and drop her off to see Rachel. He had to go to school but was always skipping classes after lunch so he can go do a 3-hour job to help feed his family.
Soon after Rachel's passing made Felix have to force himself to be strong for Olivia. He spent every second with her as he doesn't want to lose her just like he did Rachel. As for his parents, they were a mess. His mother was never home always out working more, his dad drank and was always drunk when he was home on his days off. Felix was depressed seeing everyone like this but never expected it to get worse than this. One night his dad who was on the couch starting to drink got a call from the hospital. He drove Felix and Olivia to the hospital in a rush not even telling his kids why he was speeding to the hospital. When they got there they were met with a doctor and 3 nurses. "We are sorry but Mrs.Lee died in a car accident, she didn't make it." The doctor said. Felix hugged Olivia as they both cried and his father collapsed on the floor crying.
It took a whole year to heal for both Olivia and Felix about what happened but their father......was a different story. Barely worked, slept all day, or ate everything in the house, and was always drank. This made Felix have to always look after Olivia full-time. Since Rachel has passed he didn't have to spend his whole evening and night with her but instead a job at a cafe that actually was enough to keep up with the bills and food. Olivia was old enough now to walk herself from school to Felix's job. Olivia always did her homework at the cafe that he worked in called "The Boyz" (I cringe) Felix liked it better when Olivia was at the cafe and not at home with his overly drunk father. Olivia was happier, she always had a smile on her face while she did homework which made Felix feel less worried and he can focus on his job.
There were only boys who worked at "The Boyz" so it was hard to not stare at the co-workers and not what he is doing. He always knew he was gay or at least Bi but he never dared to tell anyone. After a while of working at the cafe, he was very very close to this one guy named Eric. They always had the same work schedule so they always saw each other at work and got very close. They don't go to the same school but they did spend a lot of time just the two of them. Felix started to grow a big crush on Eric but he always hid it.
