Risa's POV

I was walking down the hall after my daily routine was done. We ate our breakfast in silence. I wanted him to say something.. no. I actually I wanted him to apologize.

'Does it even matter anymore?' I thought. I then went to the library.

'There is nothing I can do for him. No matter how much it hurts, I have to get by and let it be.'

I took out the book of witches and studied.

'There has to be a way to stop her. She can't be powerful and I refuse to wait for a thousand years for the spell to fade. It will be too late by then.'

I told myself this as a motivation to work on. I needed to strive on for those majestic creatures.

Troy's POV

Risa didn't talk to me today and it was a good thing! ...I think..

'She's in the library..' I thought. It's not like I'll apologies or something.

A few minutes later I was drinking a moka coffee downstairs. I was supposed to find some time killing things when Risa came out.

"Where are you going?" I asked before she reached the door.

"Out." She said plainly. I stood up knowing this is my cue to leave.

"Just when I was about to do something.." I mumbled a compliance but was heard none the less.

"Then stay. I'm not forcing you to leave." She said cooly.

"Yeah right. Then go." I said and to my surprise she did. I then followed her.

"Wait up!" I yelled at her. She was already at the back of the wheel.

"I thought that you didn't want to come." She said.

"I got bored." I said as I get in the car.

She sighed then looked at me with seriousness.

"Look Troy, I won't be nice in front of other people. So expect cold treatment outside. You also have to behave." She took a pause before continuing.

"Promise me you'll behave." She said.

I looked at her like she was crazy. She sighed and get out of the car.

"If you can't behave then I'll not go." She said like she was tired.

'Is she tired of me?' Somehow I felt a pang of sadness in me.

'Am I bad?' I thought.

I went after her. She then was sitting on the desk drinking coffee.

"Risa listen-"

"TROY!!!" She cut me off the tackled me followed by gunshots.

"What!?" I screamed as the gunshots were directed at her. I then got mad.

I looked out seeing someone with a gun.

'That must be him!' I thought.

I ran to him and punched his face hard. He went flying down. He quickly got up and was about to stab me when Risa kicked him square on the face. He was knocked out.

"Thanks.." I said.

"No problem." She said.

'She just saved my life. Maybe.. I misjudged her..'

"Risa." I said stopping her. She stopped on her tracks.

"I trust you." I said out loud.

She then continued walking and gave a wave of her hand.

"Come on. Let's go back to the house." With that she left and I followed behind smiling.
