Family Visit

Troy's POV

I was enjoying a nice cup of coffee when Risa came in and grabbed the keys.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

Risa then stopped on her tracks and tensed up. She then stopped like she was thinking about something.

"I'm going to visit my family." She said after a while.

I raised a brow in disbelief.

"Risa, your family is on a trip to France. How are you supposed to visit them?"

"Not them. My other parents. The ones who took care of me when I was little." She said slightly soft.

I was wondering why she was so hesitant in answering.

"I'll go with you." I said as I stood up.

"I don't think that is a good idea.."

"Risa I trust you. Know it's your turn to trust me. They can't be that bad." I reasoned.

Risa sighed and nodded.

"Just don't freak out once you find out." With that we went outside.

Risa drove to a forest and came to a familiar place. Once I recognized this scent I growled. Yes, we vampires have good denver of smell too.

"Risa, stop the car." I said.

"What's wrong?" She asked concern in her voice.

"This is the werewolves' territory." I whispered.

"Do you.. do you hate the werewolves?" The question caught me off guard.

I thought for a while before I answered.

"No.. I'm just afraid they'll hurt you.." I said softly.

I then felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked at the person that owns the hand and saw Risa smiling.

"Don't worry. They'll not hurt us cause they are the family I am visiting." She said softly.

Risa's POV

His eyes widened then his expression softened as he met my hard gaze. He sighed then nodded.

"Let's go." He said.

I smiled then drives closer. We then reached the house.

'It's been a while since I left.' I felt nostalgia about to kick in but I shook it off.

"Come on." I said as I got out of the car and headed to the house with Troy right behind me.

Once I reached the house I opened the door and ducked.

"Ufff!" Troy said as he got hit with a pan.

"How many times do I have to tell you two to shut up!!" An all too familiar voice shouted.

"Nina!" I shouted as I ran to her.

She gasped then ran to hug me.

"Risa! It's been a while since you're back." She said cheerfully.

"Drake! Jake! How are you holding up?" I laughed.

"Barely alive.." They both said together then Nina gave them the famous 'Death Glare.'

"Who's the kid behind ya?" Jake asked after he recovered.

"That's Troy. I'm helping him with our little problem." I said emphasizing the two last words.

The three gave a nod. Drake then glared hard at Troy. I saw him stiffened under his gaze. Drake then laughed and pat him on the back.

"Welcome to our humble abode." He said and the others smiled.

"Y-you don't mind that I-I'm a vampire!?" She said clearly shocked.

"Of course we mind!" Jake said sternly.

"But if Risa trusts you and your species then we will be ready to make an alliance anytime." Nina stated.

"Since she trusts you then we welcome you to our family." Drake said sounding considerate.

"That's right." I heard a voice I haven't heard in a while said.

"Father!" I said as I hugged him.

"Risa. How are you doing?" He asked.

"I'm fine. Where's mom?" I asked.

"Sadly she have things to attend to. I'll tell her you stopped by when she comes back." He said.

"Let's have a party!" Jake then randomly said.

O-O=Nina

I laughed so hard at Nina's reaction.

"Yes! Let's have a party!" Drake said as he grabbed Troy and forced a bottle of whiskey in his mouth.

"Ugh..." Father said as he sweat dropped anime style.

"Don't worry father. I'll be fine. It won't hurt to celebrate once in a while." I said trying to reassure him.

"Yeah!!! Let's Partyyyyy!!!" Troy said in a drunkish tone.

A drunk Jake then threw a chair at me but being a skilled fighter I am, I kicked it away destroying it in the process.

"Er.. Sorry.." I said as the chair hit Nina.

The night was eventful and it really was interesting with Troy drunk and all. With the help of Drake he was in his bed sound asleep.

'Best visit ever!' I thought before I slept soundly.
