Camila's POV
"Mila did you this?" Dinah asked me, opening my curtain to my bunk.
"What?" I ask, putting my phone down.
"Ricky and Dev posted a new YouTube video, it's a cover." Dinah held out her phone, showing me a picture of Ricky's Instagram. "It's gone viral.." She trailed off.
"That's great-"
"Mila the song is about you...." She said carefully.
"How do you know?"
"I mean, it's kinda obvious.... Check it out." I nodded, and headed out of my bunk. I don't understand why he would do a cover song about me. I never did anything wrong to him. I'm just hoping it's a happy song, and it's good.
Walking out to the eating area of the bus, I sat at the table where my laptop was. Dinah sat next to me as I pulled up Youtube.
"Type in Dev's channel." Dinah ordered, pointing to the screen. I went to her channel, and clicked videos. Quickly scrolling through some videos, Dinah stopped me pointing to one. "It's that one!" She cheered, and I clicked on the video, and turned up the volume.
"Hey guys, Dev here... With my handsome brother Ricky."
"That sounds weird, don't call me handsome.." Ricky nudged, Dev and they both giggled.
"Okay, so anyway we're here to do a cover for you guys since I haven't updated in a while..." Dev stopped and picked up her guitar. "I'm just here to play guitar, Ricky is going to serenade you all with his angelic vocals.."
"Why are we siblings.." Ricky mumbled, running a hand through his hair. Dinah and I chuckled at the small comment, and continued watching.
"It's only cause I'm the best!" She flipped her hair, and gave a cheeky smile to the camera throwing up two thumbs.
"Just play the guitar peanut."
"Ricky!!" Dev slapped him, and he started laughing.
"Okay, okay... This song is called Not In That Way by Sam Smith, hope you enjoy.." They both calmed down, enough for Dev to start playing guitar, as soon as it started Ricky began at the same time."And I hate to say I love you When it's so hard for me And I hate to say I want you When you make it so clear You don't want me
I'd never ask you cause deep down I'm certain I know what you'd say You'd say I'm sorry believe me I love you but not in that way"
As Ricky sang, I could see the way he felt as he sang. Every emotion was poured into the song, and the lyrics were beautiful.
"And I hate to say I need you I'm so reliant I'm so dependant I'm such a fool
When you're not there I find myself singing the blues Can't bear Can't face the truth
You will never know that feeling
You will never see through these eyes"My eyes were glued to the screen, and I couldn't look away. I understood what he was singing. Every last bit.
"Who's singing?"
"Quiet!" I said, making Lauren stop in her tracks.
"I'd never ask you Cause deep down I'm certain I know what you'd say You'd say I'm sorry Believe me I love you But not in that way
You'd say I'm sorry
Believe me I love you But not in that way"The last lyrics flew through his mouth, I looked over at Dinah.
"How did you know this was about me?" I tested, wanting to hear a reason.
"Mila, the song is about someone liking someone else, but the other person doesn't like them in that way." Dinah sighed. "Ricky likes you in a way he wants to be with you, but your not on the same page as him."
