Lauren's POV

"Hey, babe." I whispered as she ran into my arms.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" Dev asked, gripping my shirt.

"Well I didn't know you were coming to your Mom's venue... We planned for me to come back to your house for a surprise." I chuckled, running a hand through her hair. "I missed you so much." I confessed kissing her temple.

"I missed you too." We parted a little so she could meet my gaze. We stared into each others eyes for a little, my thumb lightly caressing her cheek.

"Uh, I don't mean to interrupt-actually I do. Where is my 'hello'!?!" Dinah giggled, and pushed me off of her, embracing her in a hug.

"Hey, let me in there!" Ally smiled, rushing over to join the group hug. Then Camila and I decided to join them too.

"I missed all your crazy asses, so much!" Dev cheered. "But I'm getting a little claustrophobic here." She mumbled, and we all pulled away quickly. I had told them about her incident at the movie premiere, and told them to be careful around her a little.

"Girls we need you in sound check!" One of the staff members yelled, and the others went to grab there mics.

"Hey there." Dev smirked, wrapping her arms around my waist. "I still haven't gotten my proper hello..." She trailed off, standing on her toes to meet my lips.

"Lauren, come on we need you in sound check."

"I'll be right back." I winked, and pecked her lips again, before heading off to the stage.

After sound check, we had a six hours until we had to cone back to the venue for the performance. "This is really cool, Demi." I stated looking out at the empty seats.

"Yea, I thought that since some kids don't have enough money to pay for other concerts, I should do a free one." She shrugged. "Thanks for coming, even though it's your day off I really appreciate it." Demi pulled me in for a hug, then walked off the stage. I decided to go look for Dev, who was sitting in the hallway on her phone.

"Come on stranger, let's go do something." She giggled, and stood up taking my hand in hers.

"Where to?" Dev asked, swinging our hands.

"We can go to mine... My parents aren't home until show time, they told me they went for a family day."

"What's a family day without you?" She chuckles.

"They didn't know I was coming, until this morning." I stated. "You can come with us in the van, it's dropping me off, and then the others are going to Camila's to see her new puppy." Dev went off to tell Demi that she would be hanging out at my place. Leaving out the fact that we would be without parental supervision. Knowing Demi she would think about what Naya would say and tell her no.

"See you later girls!" Dev shouted waving goodbye.

"Have fun!" Normani yelled out the window.

"Not to much fun!!" Dinah winked, and they drove off.

I unlocked the door, and we headed inside, straight up to my room. "Cute." She teased, holding up a small stuffed animal. I rolled my eyes, and dropped my bags on the floor. Joining Dev on the bed, I sat next to her playing with her fingers. "How long are you here for?"

"Just today, then we're heading straight out for Nevada." I sighed. I didn't want to go, but it was only a few more weeks then I'd be back home for a while. "I wish I didn't have to go."
