HAYES' POV

Hey. I'm Hayes Grier. Some of you might know me from Vine, Instagram, Twitter, really anything. I guess some people could say that I'm a little famous. I'm part of a group of guys and girl called Magcon. Im 14 and I'm in 8th grade at Davidson Day Middle.

Today we have to go to meet the teacher. It's where I found out my schedule and meet all of my teachers.

We have to leave around 3 because Meet the Teacher starts at 3:30 and it always takes a while to find a parking spot.

*3 o'clock*

"Hayes! Let's go!"

I ran downstairs and jumped in the car. I put on my seatbelt and we left.

We pulled up about 5 minutes later. I was about to jump out of my skin. I was nervous but excited. I got a text from my bro Jake.

From Jake:

Yo! I see ur car! I'm at the front of the school!

To Jake:

I c u! I'll meet u ther n a second

I told my mom to slow down and I'll jump out. I jumped out and ran to the front of the school. Can you say star quarterback this year or what?

"Jake!"

"Sup dude!"

"Checked out any of the girls yet?"

"Nah. I was waitin for you."

"Well let's go!"

We walked inside of the school and started to look around.

"I take the left, you take the right?"

"Yeah."

"I'll call you if I see anyone."

"Same"

I started walking and after about a minute I got a call.

"Already?"

"Yeah."

"Where?"

"7th grade hall."

"She's younger?"

"Yeah. But dude, I don't think it matters with this one."

"Stay on the phone and follow her."

I know it's creepy to follow people but hey it's for a girl. I could end up marrying this girl then we'll laugh about this. Either that or she'll be totally creeped out. let's hope it's the first.

I got to the 7th grade hall and saw Jake. I walked up to him and he just pointed. I instantly saw who he was talking about.

This girl was perfect. She was mixed I think. She had this thick curly hair that wasn't long but wasn't short. She had the prettiest brown eyes I have ever seen. And she was the prettiest girl I would ever lay my eyes on.

"Woah."

That's all I could say. Woah. I have to go talk to her.

"Dude I'm gonna go talk to her."

"Good luck Hayes."

I walked over and pretended like I tripped and used her for support. She turned around.

"Are you okay?"

"Uh- m- I- Me- Hayes- Fine."

I so blew it.

"Uh. Well okay."

I walked away so mad at myself. I would have to redeem myself Monday when school starts. Two days. Time to prepare.

We met all of my teachers and went home. Jake came over shortly after and we compared schedules. After that, it was planning time.

"Dude. That was so funny."

"Shut up."

"I thought you were gonna throw up on her."

"She smelled so good. And her voice. Ugh. Her voice."

"You were like uh- m- I- me- Hayes- fine. You should've seen her face."

"You think I blew it?"

"Nah."

"Good."

We spent the rest of the night planning for school. We were gonna figure out her classes, her favorite things to do, sports, and most of all her name. I didn't know it but, by the end of the first day I sure as hell would know it.

A/N: So this is the first chapter and I hoped you guys enjoyed it. Sorry it was a little boring. I promise it will get better. If I make any mistakes please let me know so I can fix them.
