"Wake up, Bitch!" The alpha commanded. Immediately Lily complied. She resisted the urge to wolf out, knowing he would just command her to shift back.
"What business do you have here?" his voice loud and intimidating. Lily and her omega instincts cowered and feared, making her body look as small and the least threatening as possible. She did the closest act of submission she could show in her human form.
"Answer when spoken to!"
"I didn't know I was in your territory, I swear! I only wanted to be in the unclaimed area between my pack and others."
"You said you were in a pack, why aren't you in it?"
"I- I escaped," she whispered.
"Why in the hell did you want to escape?!" the alpha yelled furiously, mad at the thought if a werewolf being disloyal to their alpha.
Lily didn't answer if it was out if fear or shame is unknown.
*crash*
Suddenly the door slammed open and revealed to boys, identical except for one having slightly longer hair.
"Dad, stop!" the shorter haired boy who appeared to be in his early 20's said.
"James! Jared! What are you doing here?"
"We came as soon as we heard the rogue was found," the long-haired boy said.
"We were wondering if we could take it from here?" The shorter haired man said somewhat confident, but still awaiting his father's approval.
"Why?"
"Uh, we want to get used to the duty of alpha," the boy said as the excuse came to his head.
"Yeah, we're going to be alpha soon, we want to learn the responsibilities" the other twin backed up his brother.
The alpha nodded his head and walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.
"Hi! I'm Jared," the boy with longer hair said.
"And I'm James. What's your name?" the only slightly taller boy with shorter hair asked.
"Lily" she replied quietly. She didn't know why, but she felt comfortable with them despite just meeting the two boys.
Lily lifted her head up and looked at the twins who just seemed to stare at each other.
"Hello?" she spoke, trying to get the attention of the two - attractive - males in front of her.
"Oh, sorry," said James
"We were just in thought," said Jared, finishing James's sentence.
"In thought... together?" Lily inquired but got no response from the soon-to-be alphas.
"So, Lily, tell me. Why did you escape your pack?" Jared interrogated, Lily jumped slightly at the new noise breaking the silence.
"How did you know I escaped?"
"We overheard," said James. "Does it have anything to do with that?" he said, pointing to Lily's just barely swollen stomach.
"How-?" the brothers interrupted her question by both pointing to their noses as if saying 'we could smell it'. Lily nodded and explained.
"Yes, I wanted to get out of my pack and let my future child not have to deal with what I did. The pack is none for a baby"
"What pack, may I ask?" Jared asked sincerely and Lily gave a slight nod and a grin that turned sad when she spoke.
"The Silver Crescent." The room once again was filled with silence as the twins looked at each other as if they were talking telepathically and Lily didn't want to talk after being reminded of the cruel alpha.
After that, they were talking about whatever questions the alpha would normally ask the rogues. But unlike what the alpha would normally do, when the interrogation was over the twins offered her a roof over her head for the time being. For some reason, they felt drawn to and didn't want her to leave.
"Are you sure I can stay here?" Asked the confused Lily as to why they would let her, a rogue, stay in the pack house.
"Yes, feel free to stay as long as you want in the guest room." The brothers wanted her to stick around to figure out why they felt this way about her. They were just curious, or at least that's what they told themselves.
But unknown to Lily, the twins begged their dad to let her stay when they left the guest room.
"Why do you want her to stay" their father, the alpha, asked. James was the first to answer.
"We don't know, there's just something about her," he said, looking at the floor.
"Yeah, she's different. I don't know how to explain it" said Jared who joined James at looking at the -suddenly very amusing- floor.
"Maybe she put a spell in you, she could be a witch!" The alpha accused but the accusation didn't go very far.
After the twins trying to convince their father to trust them on their gut instincts, he caved and approved Lily staying.
Later they went to their massive worthy-of-alpha bedrooms and went to bed. They both had the same dream without knowing it was shared, of a small white wolf playing and running with them. It was nice and they felt strangely happy for it just being a dream.
It almost felt as if it was real.
