I woke up the morning on the couch and then remembered last night and smiled.

Then I realized... I need start packing! I ran to room.

"Mom! Mom!"

My mother came in with a towel on.

"Oh, sorry I didn't realize you were in the sho-"

"I was taking a bath." My mother interrupted and smiled. "What did you need honey?"

"Oh, I wanted to know where my suit case is."

"It's in the attic where it normally is."

"Okay, thanks."

My mother went back to her bathroom and I went to the attic. I've never really been in there before, maybe once when I was little, but then my mother yelled at me and I got out. I could never remember why she didn't want me in there.

As I climbed up into the attic, I swear the temperature changed to 65°F to 200°F. It was so hot... Then I started to smell something odd... Smoke? Which was weird because my mother almost never cooked, we always order out.

Suddenly I was sitting in an under ground cave surrounded by fire. Four red demon eyes appeared on the wall in front of me, and a big deep voice began to speak.

"Oh, it's so nice to see daddy's little girl again."

"What do you want father?"

"Oh, what every father wants. For you, my child, to follow in my foot steps."

"I will never be like you." I tried not to sound scared.

"Are you sure about that, child?"

My four demon eyes appeared on my face. "No, father please." I covered my face with my hands, hoping this was all a dream.

"Oh, Raven, you can't hide from your destiny. You are daddy's little girl after all. Don't you want to make your father proud?"

speak."No!" I took a deep breath. "I don't want this life! And Beast- I mean Garfield said he'll save me from this destiny of hell."

"Do you honestly think, a little green guy like him could save you from a demon like me? He will get hurt. And it will all be because of you, Raven."

I blinked and everything was back to normal. I was sitting in my attic again.

I wanted to cry. Was it true? Could nothing save me from my hell? Would it be easier if I just do what my father tells me what to do?

"Honey? Did you find it?" I heard my mother shout to me.

"Yeah. I found it." I said back, to myself mostly.
