Coming Home.

After I said good morning to Beastboy, I went down to my room and got ready for the day. We were all going to go sight seeing today.

When I got to the door to the room, I'd realize I had forgotten my room key and that's why I went to his room instead. I knocked on the door and my mother open it, with my key in her hand.

"Forget something last night?"

"Yeah." I nervously laughed.

"So how was it?" She smirked.

"How'd... How'd you know?"

"Oh, please. I was young once." She winked. "But you don't have to tell me, I'll wait." She laughed.

"Okay, well, I'm going to go shower."

I turned on the shower and looked at my reflection in the mirror and waiting for the water heated up. My hair was a mess, like I had rough time sleeping, but my face looked like I was well rested. As I starred at my face, I'd notice my red stone was glowing redder than usual. Then I looked at my arms and legs and noticed the red marks had appeared.

And suddenly...

I was in the fire depth of hell. I looked up to see the eyes of Trigon starring down upon me.

"Hello daughter."

"What do you want father?"

"You know what I want. The day is upon us."

"No. I-It can't be. It's such a beautiful day..."

"Eyes can't see everything, my dear."

"No!" I shouted, but he was gone. I was back in the hotel room bathroom.

I heard a knock at the door, and I heard my mother's voice. "Raven, honey, you alright?"

I looked around. "Uh.. Yeah. Yeah, I'm good."

"Well, listen, honey, it turns out we need to head home today. A mistake was made and our plane tickets are actually for today."

"Really? Weird.."

"Can you just make sure after your shower to tell Beastboy we have to leave by two o'clock."

"What time is it now?"

"Just about nine-fifteen."

"Okay, thanks. And I will."

I checked the water and it finally was warm. I took off my clothes and got in the shower.

After my shower, and I after I finished getting ready, I ran up to Beastboy's room.

"Hey, long time no see." He laughed.

"Hey, so it turns out we're leaving today."

"Oh, really?"

"Yeah, the plane tickets are actually for today, and we have to leave by two o'clock."

"Okay. Thanks Rae."

I smiled and went back to my room to pack.

Today wasn't today, he was lying.

Time Jump

The plane ride didn't seem as long as it was on the way there. Probably because I slept the whole time.

We were finally back in Jump City. Things seemed the same, like it literally seem like nothing happened.

My mother drove us all back to our house. When I walked in and through my suit case in my room. Then Beastboy wanted to talk to me outside.

"Rae, there's been something I've been keeping from you."

"Oh my god, you were using me?"

"No! Not at all! I love you. I love you a lot."

"Oh, okay. Then what is it?"

"There's something wrong with my powers. It's hard to explain. Like my DNA has always been screwed and unstable since I've had my powers, but it's more unstable now than it has ever been."

"Wh-what does that mean?" I could feel tears forming.

"The more I transform... The more damage is done to my body."

"Garfield..." A tear finally fell as I hugged him. "When did this all start?"

"Just a weeks ago. Rita didn't want me going to Florida, but I had too. For you."

I just held him tight, never wanting to let go.

There was a sudden rumble in the sky and a big shake in the ground. The sky turned red with black lightning.

This can't be happening.
