I got the phone call that night.
"I'm sorry Ms. Roth."
I didn't cry, though, I wanted too. I simply just hung up the phone. I knew this was coming. I knew I was going to hurt him. Why'd it have to be so soon? "I didn't even get to tell you 'I love you' for the last time." I curled upon my bed. I put my head to my knees. I could feel a few tears falling. I just kept repeating the same words in my head.
This is all my fault.

A week later

It was his funeral. He wanted me to speak. I stood up from my seat and walked up to the stand.
"He was the greatest person I knew. He taught me I was never alone." It was hard for me to speak. I said some more words, but I couldn't continue. "He will always be in my heart, and I'll love him for more than just our little infinity time together."
I tried to stay strong, but as soon as I sat down again I could feel a tear fall.

Another week later
•••••••••••••••••••••••
I was having trouble sleeping and I didn't have him to call. He always made me feel better.
I decided to mediate.
After awhile, mediating didn't help anymore . I knew what I had to do, but I didn't want to do it... but it would make me feel so much better.
I got into my car and drove to the edge of the cliff.
I sat in my car. I looked over to the side and saw the graveyard. I got out of my car and walked over to it. I saw the stone there.
It read:
Garfield Logan
The Bravest Person To Protect His Mate.
Then it had this birth and death date.
I simply laid on top of his grave. "I miss you so much." I couldn't hold the tears back anymore. I was balling on the ground. "I'm so sorry. It wasn't your time, you should have let him get to me." I took a deep breath. "Gar, I love you so more than you will ever know."
"I'm sure he knows."
I've heard the voice before. I looked up to see my father standing over me.
"What are you doing here?!? Leave me alone!"
"But Raven, dear, your faith awaits."
I looked to the ground. "You've already take everything I cared about. So I will continue with my faith."
"Good little daddy's girl." My father smiled.
"I'm ready now, father."
He smiled and began to mumble the words of evil. The next thing I knew I was floating in a white space.
I could see something in the distance... No, someone.
"Hello? Can you tell me where I am?"
Silence.
I walked closer, I could now see the person was...
"Garfield?"
He smiled. "Hey Rae." I missed his smile.
"But wait... How are you here?Where is here?"
"Rae, calm down, and this place...this place is heaven."
I was shocked. "It...It is?" I wanted to cry and smile at the same time. I could tell Beastboy knew.
"Rae, it's okay, we can be together now. We can stay together... Forever." He smiled.
"I guess that is pretty great."
"This is a new kind of way to live its different..." He grab my hands. "Just like us." His smile made me feel like I was finally home. I was finally where I belonged. We kissed and the white space changed... It was new beautiful place... A place where Beastboy and I could live.
I looked back over at him and he smiled then spoke.
"We'll be different?"
"We'll be different."
