Different.

"So you were saying... I mean on the phone, that you watched the show?" I kept stuttering, I didn't know why.

"Oh, right, yeah. I watch the show..."

"And...?"

"And it was pretty damn awesome! And I don't know why, but the voice actor that you were talking about, Greg Cipes? His voice sounded so familiar. I wonder why."

"I don't know, maybe you heard him on another show?"

He just shrugged. "Well, anyway that show was really awesome, I can't wait to see what happens to Karai!"

"Oh, about the show, it's not going to be continuing..."

He looked at me with those sad puppy eyes. "What do you mean the show isn't continuing?!?"

"Well, I was online last night and I read that Greg Cipes mysteriously vanished, and they can't continue the show without him."

"Well, we have to fix this! We must find Greg!"

"And how are we going to do that exactly?" I giggled.

"Well, let me do some research first." He smirked at me.

"Why are you always smirking at me?" I giggled.

"Cause I like you."

"I still don't understand why. I mean... everyone else just thinks of me as 'creepy'." I closed my eyes, trying not to show my emotion of being hurt.

"You're not creepy." He pushed back the hair in my face and raised my head. "You're different." He smiled at me, and it wasn't one of those goofy smilies he normally gives me, but a real passionate smile. It made me blush.

"Different?"

"Different."

Our faces were really close together, and everything was in silence, I thought he was going to kiss me.

I broke the silence. "Is different... good?" Again my hair fell in front of my face.

"Different is amazing." His eyes sparkled. "I like you 'cause you're different like me." He pushed my hair again. "Maybe 'different' could be our 'forever'? "

I smiled, then we broke eye contact.

"We still need to fix this Greg Cipes problem."

I just shook my head at him and laughed.
