remember when we first met? at the vending machine during lunch break?

i had trouble because the my milk carton got stuck in the machine. according to you, i'd get grumpy without my daily dose of milk.

anyway, i was wondering how i should get it out when you appeared.

you asked me what was wrong and frustratedly, i explained what happened. you simply chuckled and bent down a little, hitting the machine at its side a few times. i could tell something got knocked loose inside, from the sound of something dropping into the chute. you stuck a hand in and pulled out a milk carton.

you handed it to me with a smile and not to tell anybody, saying it's originally your secret but it's ours then, before skipping off.

i remember thinking to myself, she's weird. weird in a good way, i think?

little did i know this encounter would bring you closer to me.
