Lukas was at his locker after school. His "friend," Matthias, if he could even say that, snuck up behind him and shouted his presence, but before he could get a word in, Llukas already sensed Matthias's movement.

"Hello Matthias," Lukas didn't look up.

"Aw," Matthias ruffled Lukas's hair(he got smacked in the process), "You make it sound like you're disappointed to see me."

You see dear reader, Lukas wasn't not happy to see the Dane, but he wasn't happy, per se, to see him either. Lukas brushed the remark aside as if he didn't hear it.

"What do you want?" he asked in his deadpan tone.

"Attention~" Matthias sang.

"Don't you have some party to set up for?" Lukas slammed his locker before heaving his bag over his shoulder and leaving the building.

He headed to the bus stop with the Dane on his heels.

"I do, but I have a social life too," Matthias quickly caught up to Lukas, "I'll set up what I have to later."

"You're crazy, Dane," Lukas sighed.

After almost 3 months of having the crazy Dane practically glued to his side, Lukas had become accustomed to the Dane's almost childish antics.

"SO," Matthias placed his hands behind his head, "About that invite."

"Haven't decided. I'll tell you when I do," Lukas repled.

"You say that every day though!" Matthias whined.

"And what are you going to do about it?" Lukas asked. It came out harsher than he intended.

Matthias's eyes lit up, "I'm gonna force you to come to the party!"

Lukas rolled his eyes at the toddler walking beside him, "And how will you do that?"

Matthias grinned like a happy puppy, "You'll see~. It's a secret."

Shit. Lukas thought to himself as Matthias skipped out of Lukas's line of sight. What the hell is that idiot going to do?

He continued to walk down the street to his house. Closing the door behind him, Lukas thought one last thought before Emil and his parents pulled him into a disney movie marathon.

Ah, secrets. I hate secrets.

A week passed, and Lukas had kept his guard up. So far, Matthias hadn't done anything out of character. Aside from the note Lukas found in his locker from Matthias. It read: "Bring a home-made ornament to 4897 Willow Drive* after school Matthias"

Lukas rolled his eyes, and he crumpled the note. Why did he have to go? Oh, right. He didn't, so he left the school like normal.

The following day, Lukas opened his locker and countless notes and confettis poured out. Lukas picked a piece of paper from the counter. "Why'd ya not show?" He selected one by his feet. "Don't ignore me." He found one by his physics textbook. "Come today!" And countless more similar messages.

"So~" Matthias snuck up on Lukas from behind, "Are you coming today?"

"Confetti? Really?" Lukas glared.

Matthias nodded.

"I assume I will recieve more glitter in my locker if I do not?"

Matthias grinned and nodded, "Today, after school, 4897 Willow Drive!" He waled away with his head held high in triumph. He won this battle, but the war would continue into the new year.
