Dear Calum,
I was admiring the view of Manhattan from my office and immediately thought about you. At this point, you could be anywhere and I absolutely have no clue. This city may be filled with tons of people and buildings, but now it feels so empty knowing that you're not here.
In the distance, I could see the public library that you used to take me sometimes after I got off work. We spent hours discovering the greatest novels; even if that meant you had to piggy back me so I grab that one book you couldn't reach.
I hope you're doing great out there wherever you are, and I have the slightest hope that you will come back, or the least, call.
I'll be here anticipating for you.
Yours truly,
Lara x
