December 15

Dear Calum,

If you read my last letter, I may have said that I'm trying to find ways to get over you, but the truth is... I can't. I care too much. A part of me feels like if I try to get over you, that means I have to forget about you, but you don't deserve to be forgotten because your being is simply primordial. Forgetting you feels like I'm losing a part of myself that I've grown to like.

But, forgetting you also means that I can live my life and finally move on. I would be able to go about my day and not be reminded of you. I wouldn't have this feeling of guilt and despair overshadowing me every minute of the day.

If I forget about you... That means I have to let go of the past, but that's the only thing I have of you left. And I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world.

Yours truly,
Lara x
