2 – Lipstick
ROUE grunted as he tried to wake himself, he cursed when he found his phone and saw the time. It's still four in the morning, hindi pa yata umaangat ang araw. Itinaob niyang muli ang kanyang cellphone at babalik sa pagtulog kung hindi lang iyon muling nag-ring.
"Hello?" groggy na sagot niya. Halos tatlong oras lang ang tulog niya dahil sa late business meeting niya kagabi. And he's really tired, all he wants to do right to know is to have at least five hours of sleep before he manage his restaurant again.
"Kuya!" he should had turned off his phone for the sake of his sanity.
"What do you want?" inis na tanong niya sa kapatid na si Lois. "I'm tired." It wasn't an excuse he is really tired.
"I hate you so much! Kasalanan mo talaga ang lahat ng ito, kung hindi dahil sa iyo ay hindi mangyayari sa akin ang bagay na ito. I really hate you, gusto ko ng mamatay." He heard her sister sobs and that wakes him up.
"Anong gusto mong mamatay?"
"Ano ba kasi ang ginawa m okay Bless?"
"Bless?" the name sounds familiar.
"She cancelled the engagement and because of that, I am engaged to Blast na." Cancelled? Engagement? Blast?
Bless?
"Again."
"Bless cancelled your engagement."
Matagal bago nag-sink-in sa kanya ang sinabi nito. Pilit na inaalala ang hitsura ng babaeng binanggit ng kapatid.

He remembered it now, that girl—woman his parents want him to marry. That sweet and innocent looking Barbie doll that gives him a creepy feeling when she smiles. His fiancée, how can he forget about that? Masyado na ba talaga siyang busy at subsob sa trabaho at nakalimutan niyang may fiancée nga pala siya. Eight freaking years! Tama, naaalala na niya. She cancelled it? That's a very good news--.
"I am doomed, kuya." Muli niyang binalikan sa kabilang linya ang kapatid na babae. Lois is really crying, he had never heard or saw her sister crying like this. "I don't want to marry Blast, you know how much I hate him."
Blast, Bless' older brother who happened to be his bestfriend and his sister will never be an item. Alam nilang lahat iyon, hindi magkasundo ang dalawa, they tried their best to mend the feud between the two pero wala naman silang i-me-mend dahil walang root ang feud ng dalawang iyon. They just plainly hate each other.
"Ginawa ko naman ang lahat, naging good daughter ako. I studied very hard at hindi ako naging pabigat sa pamilya natin pero bakit ganito? Bakit kailangang ako pa?" malakas na umiyak ang kapatid niya and that clenched his chest. Masyado man siyang busy sa trabaho but he values his family so much.
