I thought I'd do something a bit different from this chapter. :3 Since its always Mylla's POV you're all reading, I thought its time for you to see Charlie's POV. ALTHOUGH EHEM, this is one of the few of Charlie's POV. . . Most of it is Mylla's. k bye xx

Charlie's POV

I regret the day packing sweaters, jumpers and all sorts of winter clothing, when its bloody hot here in Sydney. And so the other day, I decided to join my aunt's adventure to the mall and pick out some summer clothing. I don't think I'll survive the weather here, its sunny most of the time.

Its also been a week since I've last contacted my girlfriend Mylla, and I must say, I'm not happy. Having myself not talk to her kills me, I miss listening to her giggle, her talk, her cry, everything about her could make me smile. The reason I haven't been able to call her is because my aunt took my phone, as soon as I got here. She said that I needed to explore where we live a bit more, before she gives it back. I did tell her about Mylla, but she acts as if she doesn't exsist.

"You can have your phone back Charlie," I heard her say behind me, as she approaches me from the kitchen. "I can tell that it won't be long before you get used to the lifestyle." Yeah right, never.

"Oh, thank you aunty." I gave her a grin, as I grabbed a glass of coke from the fridge. "I finally have a chance to chat with my girlfriend."

"Could you come downstairs in thirty minutes? I want you to meet my co-worker's daughter, who goes to your school." She asks nicely, as she pats their dog bubbles.

"Um, okay?" I responded, unsure. Why would she want me to meet her friend's daughter? Do I need other friends while I'm here? Quickly shrugging off the thought, I made my way upstairs to my bedroom.

14 messages, 12 missed calls, 9 voicemails. Mylla must be really mad at me right now,- I couldn't blame her, and I couldn't blame my aunty either.

As soon as I got to my room, I called her five times, soon enough to realize that she was probably sleeping already. She's one of the few people I know that sleeps early, and only sleeps late if she's keen on a movie marathon. I quickly logged in facebook, seeing only Isaac, Alicia and Diana online.

Out of nowhere, Briana messages me.

Briana: Hey, school isn't the same without you hottie ;)

  Me: What do you want?

Briana: I thought it was the perfect oppoturnity for me to tell you that, you've got a rival xx

  Me: A rival? Who?

Briana: Adrian Brooks, duh! First of all, he's taking your position in basketball AND your 'girl' Mylla.

Me: I don't think Mylla would ever cheat on me, she's loyal and commited to our relationship. I think you're just making up lies, to get me mad at her.

Briana: Shut up, I am not! Did she even tell you how they were totes talking the other day? They were sitting together, laughing and pretty much flirting!!!

I didn't know what to respond to her, I didn't know if I should believe her either. But the only reason that my instinct is telling me that it might be true is because, I'm not there to witness it myself. What if Adrian really is planning to take Mylla away from me? Of course, I wouldn't let that happen. I needed to talk to her as soon as possible, to make things clear.

There was always something about Adrian, the fact that he wasn't friendly when I introduced myself to him. I thought he would be a kick back dude but no, he's a tool. A person who thinks they know it all, its straight up pathetic.

Isaac: Hey man! How is it in Aussie, America isn't the same without you!

Me: Its great actually, I miss Mylla. How is she dude?

Isaac: She's alright, but definitely not the same without you.

Me: Want to tell me about this um, Adrian guy?

Issac: He has your position in basketball now, he's still a tool. He's also your girlfriend's science partner..

As I was about to reply, my aunty enters my room without knocking, so not rude. What if I was jerking off or something?

"I've been calling you for five minutes now Charlie," She tells me, her arms folded and tone serious. "Our guests are downstairs and I need you to show manners, just like your parents taught you."

"I'll be downstairs in a minute, sorry," I apologised. "I just have to say goodbye to my friend."

"Be quick boy, and change your clothing too. You look like you're off to the beach."

I gave her a slight nod, before she exits the room.

Me: Isaac bro, I gtg! I need to meet someone's daughter, nothing important. Catch up later yeah? bye.

Isaac: Better be sure you're not replacing Mylla, haha jokes! bye broo.

Chucking my phone on the bed, I walked towards my wardrobe and pulled out a white tee and a pair of denim shorts.

I'm 100% sure that my aunty knows about Mylla, but why is it so important to her that I dress up to meet some girl? She must be up to something, she has to be.

***************************************************************************************

"Aileen, Bruce," My aunty introduces me to a couple her age. "Meet my nephew Charlie."

"Its nice to meet you Charlie, you look exactly like your mother." The woman named Aileen says.

"Thank you ma'am."

Suddenly, a girl from behind them pops up. She was almost as beautiful as Mylla, with brunette hair and chocolate coloured eyes. Although she did not pass in my eyes, no one could ever replace Mylla, and when I say no one, I mean no one.

"This is our daughter, Isabella." Bruce introduces, their daughter who is now smiling at me. I gave her a small smile as I offered my hand to her, to shake.

"Nice to meet you Charlie," She says. "I heard you go to my school. Its pretty weird how I did not recognize you at all, forgive me."

"Don't worry about it," I told her. "I'm not really that type of person who's up for attention."

"Now that everybody knows each other," My aunt interrupts. "Why don't we have dinner already? I've roasted chicken and baked potatoes for all."

We all gave her a nod, before following her to the kitchen. When we got to the table, I pulled out a chair for Isabella, because I'm a gentleman just like dad taught, before I sat down beside her myself.
