Mylla's POV
I still couldn't figure out who handed the note, but it really had to be someone who just left. But that's the thing, there are so many people that recently left!
"Hey guys," I greeted Diana and her boy. "Can any of you recognise this piece of writing?"
Diana grabbed the piece of paper and read it. "I hope you're all happy? I don't understand, who wrote this?"
"That's what I'm trying to find out," I told her, sighing. "I've been stressed out for two days now, trying to find out who wrote it and what they meant."
Suddenly, Grace walks towards us smiling. "What's up Mylla?"
"Read this piece of paper, and tell me if you have a single clue who wrote it."
After she's read the note, there was something about her expression that made me feel, that she knew something about it. You know it when Grace knows something, the way she looks aftewards gives it away.
"Maybe this person," She pauses, giving it back to me. "Is trying to make you our us, feel guilty for something we've done. The only clue this only gives away is the style of writing, I mean, give it a good look once again Mylla. Its sidewards, who do you know writes sidewards?"
"My brain isn't functioning at the moment Grace," I told her as I lined up to buy wedges. "Its driving me nuts that my mind is floating!"
"Maybe you're just hungry!" Liam jokes, making us girls laugh. All of a sudden, Isaac passes by with Luke and Kent, his minions from his mean girls group. They probably came all the way from the courts, since that's where Isaac hangs out nowadays. I don't understand though, what is so fun about getting the ball in the hoop? I can't imagine myself doing that everyday but yet again, they're boys.
"What's up Liam!" Isaac greets, lining up behind me. "Don't you want to come with us at the courts?"
"I think I'll skip for today," Liam responds, dribbling the basketball Kent just had. "I want to spend some time with my girl Diana, since I don't have bollywood today."
"Whatever you say man, I'll just see you after school."
It took five minutes, before I actually got my wedges. I gave a few to my friends, before deciding to eat it solo. I was so scared that my eftpos was going to be declined but luckily, my dad texted me, saying that he already transferred money.
Our recess didn't take long before we had to go to the next class, and it was pretty boring just walking around the school. I've had a pair of earphones on my ears the whole day, cause I feel like its what I should be doing. Music takes me to another world, my world, just like everyone else does.
****************************************************************************
Another two periods later, it was finally lunch time.
I wasn't really hungry, so I just decided to drink the packet of juice I brought from home. It was mango flavour which Diana loved, me ending up giving her half of it. My eyes were covered by an average-sized pair of hands, before I turned around to spoil whoever was trying to surprise me.
"Mylla bæ," Adrian greets, winking at me. "I just passed by to remind you about our coffee date, later on. Please bring the big piece of refill you took with you the other day, all our ideas our there. I can't believe we have two days left!"
"Don't call me that," I mumbled as I rolled my eyes. "Only Charlie has the authority to do so. Call me by my name or come up with something better Adrian. Try to be original for once okay?"
"My love for you is original Mylla, you know that." He grins, pushing his hair back.
I couldn't actually believe that, I let myself blush not only infront of him, but Grace, Diana, and Liam. I was so dead right now, my boyfriend probably is going to kill me.
"Adrian you should leave," Liam threatened, since he was like Isaac, a close friend of Charlie. "You wouldn't want to start trouble again would you? Try hitting on Grace or someone else, just not Charlie's girlfriend. I don't know how many times we have to remind you but, just because he isn't here, it doesn't give you the right to flirt with his girl."
"That's another thing you don't understand about me," He chuckled cockily. "I don't take orders or listen to rules from anyone, but myself. You've got balls to tell me to back off and you expect me to listen? You must be really stupid. You're lucky Diana loves you, or does she really? Maybe you just vribed her or some shit. I hear you're good at that too, messing and flirting with girls." Adrian turns to Diana. "Diana, you should find someone better, I hope you don't fall for his I love you's or all those things he says to you. You should always remember, you're not his original first love."
How could Adrian say such a thing to my friends? He was being a complete asshole right now. Maybe I should have actually listened to them, maybe I was being too nice to him. It was totally unexceptable for me, when he said that to Diana. She doesn't deserve any of the rubbish, coming out from his mouth.
"Leave Adrian." I growled, clenching my fists.
"Whatever bitch, you and your friends are pathetic." He hissed, walking off and bumping onto Liam's shoulder. What is it with people these days, and their attitudes?
I looked back to Diana to see if she was okay, only to find her sobbing on Grace's chest. She probably is really hurt with what Adrian said, and I wasn't just going to let him get away with it. He doesn't have the power to hurt anyone's feelings, just cause he's new here and thinks he's better than everyone else. It was time for me to come up with a good payback.
"Don't listen to him Diana," Liam begged, trying to pull her in for a hug, but she rejected. "He's just messing with your brain, I love you and you are the only girl I have eyes on. Please don't forget about the plans we've made for the future, us being a family, and our triplets."
"I'm not so sure if that's true anymore, Liam," She says, between her soft sobs. "Can you please just go?"
What a crazy day.
