Mylla's POV
Getting to know Adrian was fun, I must admit. There are times when you would he's such a serious person about his career but in reality, he's a goof. I loved the way he bought me most of the things I loved in starbucks, also because its only the third time I've been to that place.
I got home around 7pm, after spending three hours with him at the beach, and the park, basically getting to know each other.
He told me about his little brother, who he very much adored. He also told me about his family, and how they were as awesome as him.
I must admit, his life story is interesting, but nowhere near as good as Charlie.
Speaking of Charlie, I'm slowly dying because its been a while since we've spoken. Its as if we barely know each other at all, its like we didn't have a thing going on. It was as if, we didn't love each other at all.
There still are times when I feel like breaking down, and never stop crying. I never knew this whole long distance relationship, would be so hard, and that it'd have such a big impact on both of us. Its only been two weeks since he's left, and out of those fourteen days, we've only spoken twice.
Could there actually be a possibility, that everything we've been through, is coming to an end?
It hurts to have these kinds of thoughts, but at the same time, I had to be aware, and prepared. Losing him would be like someone throwing daggers straight through my heart, but losing myself, that would hurt even more.
I don't want to lose myself, if it ever comes across the point that me and Charlie are breaking up. I still want to be me, the same Mylla who is always happy, and is always there for everybody.
As I was about to make my way downstairs for dinner, the sound of Skype rang repetitively on my laptop.
Charlie Evans is calling you.
My heart froze, as soon as I saw his name on the screen. I quickly ran towards my bed, where the laptop was located, and did a dolphin dive. Quickly clicking answer, I fixed my hair, and plastered a smile on my face, while it loaded.
There he was.
Charlie and I stared at each other, in silence. I didn't mind because I needed to have a good look at his face again. I needed to examine his face, and find the boy I was still inlove with. Glady, he was still there.
He smiles at me before waving his hand in the air. "Hey Mylla, I've missed you."
"I've missed you too," I managed to respond, smiling back. "Why haven't you called me?"
"Things are getting crazy back here," He informs me. "School is crazy."
"Have you," I paused. "Met anyone?"
"Well, I've met this girl."
Ouch.
"Her name is Isabella, she's my neighbour. She's been showing me around school, and yeah, she's pretty cool. We're good friends right now."
"Oh."
As soon as he sees my response, he chuckles. "Babe, we have nothing going on, please don't worry. Like I said before I left, no one is going to replace you."
"Are you sure about that?" I teased, poking my tongue out.
"Of course. Have you forgotten about what I wrote on the letter? Because if you have, I'd be dissapointed."
"I haven't," I told him. "It probably is one of the things I won't forget."
"I love you Mylla."
"I love you too, Charlie."
"How about you?" Charlie asks, while he scatches the back of his head. "Do you want to tell me about this Adrian guy?"
"He's my partner for the science project, since you're not here. I'm going to meet up with him again, later on. We have to start thinking about what we're writing in our presentation."
"Where are you guys going to meet up?" He sounded very nosy.
"At his house."
I could see Charlie's reaction changing, his jaw clenched. "You're not going Mylla."
"Why not, its for our project." I answered back, sounding annoyed.
"I don't think it'd be a project, once you get to his house. You are not going." His tone was now serious, as he looks at me.
"Yes I am Charlie," I insisted. "We aren't going to do anything wrong. Stop over thinking."
"I don't want him to be your partner," he sighs. "Can't you just please choose someone else?"
"Its too late for that, because you're not here."
"I told you about this already! Stop being such a drama queen Mylla!" He says, almost sounding like he was yelling.
"I'm not!" I yelled back, holding back the tears willing to escape in my eyes. "Is it my fault that I miss you? Is it my fault that, I can't live a day without you?!"
He sighs in defeat. "I',"
"Whatever Charlie, goodbye. And I hope you have the time of your life with Isabella there!"
Before he could say anything this time, I ended the video call and sobbed.
This was the first time we actually fought over something.
