Legolas's Pov

I woke up my arms around Y/n as she nuzzled into me. I picked her up and laid her inside on a couch by Eowyn.

"L-Legolas?" She asked as I kissed her forehead and she smiled at me holding my hand.

"Lóre mime mel, tye maure -yes." I say as she closes her eyes and smiles. I smile and walk outside and sit by myself for a bit until Aragorn joins me.

"The stars are veiled, Something stirs in the east, A Sleepless Malice." I turn to him

"The Eye of the enemy is moving." I say as Aragorn turned his head towards Mordor. We turned and heard a scream.

"He is here!" I ran inside and I see Y/n writhing on the ground, Eowyn attending her.

"Y/n I yelled and hold her close as she writhes and whimpers. 

"-yes's alright, mel, im símen, please!" I say over and over again as she screamed in pain.

"Gandalf!!!" Aragorn called and Gandalf came running in with Merry on his heels. 

"Y/n!" Gandalf yelled as he shoved me out of the way, he cast a spell and she stopped writhing and whimpering.

"L-Legolas?" She said and I quickly ran over and held her close

"-yes's alright, mel, im símen. Dont worrime úqua pole- harm tye." I say as she buries her face into my chest and sobbed.

"Sleep..." Gandalf said and she instantly fell asleep in my arms.

"Someone! Get a medic and Tend to her, Legolas, we must hold a meeting and then I will let you see her." Gandalf said as Eowyn took care of Y/n.

~Timeskip!~

"There was no lie in Pippin's eyes. A fool...but an Honest fool he remains. He told Sauron nothing of Frodo and the Ring. We've been strangely fortunate. Pippin saw in the Palantir a glimpse of the enemy's plan. Sauron moves to strike the city of Minas Tirith, His defeat at Helm's Deep showed our enemy one thing. He knows the heir of Elendil has come forth. That men are not as weak as he supposed. There is courage still, Strength enough to perhaps to challenge him. Sauron fears this. He will not risk the peoples of Middle-earth uniting under one banner. He will raze Minas Tirith to the ground before he sees a king return to the throne of Men. If the beacons of Gondor are lit, Rohan must be ready for war." Gandalf said.

I, however, I was not paying attention my mind was elsewhere, more specifically on Y/n. I was pulled out of my stupor by Gandalf taking Pippin out of the room. I rush for the Medical wing and I see Y/n laying awake reading a book. I knocked on the door, she turned to me and smiled as I slid next to her.

"Hello, my love." She said as she bookmarks her book and closes it, Looking up at me.

"Hello, Darling. Sleep well?" I asked and she nodded as I kissed her forehead. 

"Yes, but now I would like to read, wanna join me?" She said as I nodded

"Do you want me to read for you?" I asked and she nodded handing me her book. It was in Elvish and I smiled

"That is one of my favorite books," She said as I nodded

"Mine too, I have read it many times." She chuckled and made room as I laid beside her as I started reading the book.
