Legolas x Reader (The Prince and his Archer)

The Mines of Moria.

You fell asleep and would not wake up, and now we are headed for the Mines of Moria.

Legolas's Pov

I felt Y/n drift into sleep and I panicked If she falls asleep here she might never wake!

We decided to go through the Mines of Moria, and I quickly wrapped Y/n in her own cloak and mine even tighter than before. We stopped for the night after we got out of the snowstorm and I stayed by Y/n's side the entire time, I wrapped my arms around her and fell asleep with her in my arms.

~Next day~

I woke up to see Y/n's face smiling in her sleep her face nuzzled in the crook of my neck and I smiled a little bit when Aragorn dropped by...

"You like her dont you?" He said and I shook my head blushing as Y/n stirred

"Well, I mean yes I do, but I doubt she likes me in that way, she told me she had someone in mind that she like, and that she would tell me first."

"Ah, Legolas have you wondered if it was you? She liked?" Aragorn asked as I blushed

"Yes, but uh let us drop the subject, Mines of Moria..." I say as he nodded

"Gandalf said he has been there and will lead us through, but for now you must wake her and pack, alright?" He asked and I nodded as he walked away to wake up the little hobbits. I untangle my arms from around Y/n's body and gently shook her, 

"N/n...come on wake up, we must go!" I cooed as she stirred and her beautiful e/c eyes opened as she yawned cutely.

"L-Legolas? What h-happened?" She asked her voice thick with sleep as she rubbed her eyes.

"Tye aeg Lorna ar would vamme wake up, ar sí emme are headed an i mines -o moria," I say as she nodded

"Thank tye Legolas." She said as I nodded and we both got up and collected everything we needed.

~Timeskip~

We made it to the Walls of Moria, Y/n had recovered and now Frodo had just opened the doors and we all looked inside and see it had become a tomb. Y/n flinched and I grabbed her hand as she gave me a faint smile. She let go and went over to the hobbits and smiled at them comforting them before she was dragged backward.

"Y/n!" The hobbits screamed as she was dragged towards the water.

"AHHHHH!!" she yelled as I ran outside and started firing arrows at the creature. Y/n dangled upside down. Boromir and Aragorn sliced the creature's tentacles as Y/n yelled Aragorn cut the tentacle holding her and caught her when she fell. 

"Legolas!!" Boromir called and I shot it right in the eye, As we rushed into the mines. Aragorn gave Y/n to me who was trembling, I carried her as we went deeper into the mines. Later on, we came at a crossroads and I held Y/n close. 

"Y/n shhhh, it's ok...Its alright look at me." I said as she looked at me her eyes teary.

"Legolas, Im sorry, I have been on worse adventures, but..." her voice trailed off.

"No, you had every right to be scared that came out of nowhere and we weren't expecting it," I said soothingly as she nodded and buried her face in my shoulder as I stroked her hair.  

"Ah!!! I found it!!" Gandalf yelled as he did I held Y/n's hand and she didn't let go of it until she went to comfort Gimli who became a close friend of hers. I went over to Aragorn and told him

"We must move on, we cannot linger..." He nodded as Gandalf started reading the diary and Pippin knocked over some armor and it made a loud sound and Orcs came.

"They have a Cave Troll," Boromir said as he barred the doors with old weapons.

"Y/n! Aragorn! Ready your bows!" I yelled as they nodded arrows ready and on the string. 

then all hell broke loose as everyone attacked Y/n and I shot arrow after arrow. 

"Y/n! she nodded as I slung my bow and opened my hands and she jumped on them sniping 5 different orcs before landing.

"NO FRODO!!!" We both turn around to see Frodo fall with a spear in his chest...

"NO!" Y/n yelled as she shot more arrows which lead to her managing to shoot an arrow into the Cave Trolls weak point. After it was dead she ran over to Frodo...

"He is alive!" Y/n yelled happily as I smiled at her behavior.

"Come ON!" Gandalf yelled as we were surrounded by Orcs. We heard a Growl and a roar and Y/n flinched as if she knew what that was. I grabbed her hand as Gandalf said

"This is beyond any of you, RUN!" we all ran I held Y/n's hand the entire time as she grasped it. We ran for the bridge when a gap in the staircase delayed us Y/n and I jumped over gracefully. And waited to catch the others. When arrows started Flying,

"LEGOLAS!" Y/n called loading her bow and letting Arrows fly. We kept running as Gandalf stayed behind. 

"Gandalf!!!!" Frodo and Y/n yelled as I held her back

"YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!!!" Gandalf cried as beast fell but at the last moment it grabbed Gandalf's ankle and pulled.  Y/n rushed to save him, getting out of my grip but Aragorn held her back. 

"NOOOO!" she yelled 

"Fly, you fools."  and Gandalf fell...

"GANDALFFF!!!!" Frodo yelled as Boromir picked him up and Aragorn held Y/n back. I grabbed her arm and she looked at me and she buried her face in my chest sobbing. I held her close stroking her hair holding back my own tears, as Aragorn told me to get them moving. Y/n would not let go so I put her on my back and got the others moving...it was a dark and sad day.
