Priya's P.O.V.
"Thank you so much for taking him in for the day, Priya." Bhabhi shoots me a grateful look as she hands me Ravi's stuff for the day.
"You know I love Ravi, Bhabhi. I would watch him any day you ask," I smile at Ravi as I ruffle his hair.
My daughter would've been about Ravi's age now. I sadly sigh before I turn my attention back to Bhabhi.
"I totally forgot about this doctor's appointment. Usually, Ma and Papa look after him. But, you know that they went on a trip for a week," Bhabhi explains and I nod.
Ma and Papa went on their yearly trip. It's one of Ma's conditions. Papa can work as much as he wants and she won't nag him about it, but he has to take off around Ma's birthday and take her for a week long trip.
"Is Rohan Bhai going with you?" I ask. I want to make sure that the pregnant lady wasn't going anywhere alone.
"Yeah, look I'm running late. But if you have any questions, call me or Rohan. Love you, Priya." I close the door after Bhabhi gets into the car.
"Chachi, can I watch Doremon?" Ravi asks me and I can't say no to him if he asks me in such a cute voice.
"Hmmm," I pretend to think. "Only if you give me a kiss." I lean down to Ravi's level and point to my right cheek.
Ravi quickly places a kiss on my cheek before he's whipped away.
"Hey!" I protest as Ravi's giggles fill the living room.
Rahul has Ravi in his arms and places raspberry kisses on his belly. Ravi squirms in his hands.
I smile sadly at the interaction. Rahul is really great with kids. I couldn't help but wonder how he would've been with our daughter. He would've spoiled her rotten, that's for sure.
"What is my favorite nephew doing here?" Rahul asks Ravi as he places him on the ground.
"Bhabhi dropped him off. She had a doctor's appointment and she needed someone to watch over him," I tell Rahul know.
He shoots me a glance and starts frowning. It's like he forgot I was there for a second, me speaking up reminded him.
Rahul ignores me and focuses his attention on Ravi. "Hmm, if my nephew is staying over, I guess I'll have to take the day off. What do you say we go to the zoo together?" He asks Ravi.
"The zoo?! Let's go, let's go!" Ravi exclaims as he claps his hands together.
"Rahul, don't you think we should ask Bhoomi Bhabhi and Rohan Bhai before we just take him to the zoo?" I ask. I never want to overstep as Ravi's aunt.
Rahul glares at me. "I'm his Chachu. I don't have to ask permission to take him to the zoo."
Sensing that there's going to be an argument brewing, I put on something on the TV to distract Ravi.
