[6:53am]

beams of sunshine slipped through the blinds, lighting up the room in various hues of orange and yellow. you had just woken up minutes before felix's alarm was set to go off, so you were granted a few moments of serenity. stretching your arms out wide, you rolled over to spot felix who was still sleeping peacefully. drops of sunlight cascaded along his golden skin, illuminating his freckles that painted constellations across his face. you never understood how he could look so ethereal in the simplest of moments. using your elbow to prop yourself up, you looked down at him and admired all of his delicate features from the tip of his nose to the cupid's bow that rested near the middle of his upper lip.

once his alarm finally sent a wave of noise throughout the room, felix yawned and stretched his arms out in front of him—which mimicked your actions from earlier when you first woke from your slumber. it was obvious he wanted a few more minutes of precious sleep as he draped a heavy arm over you to pull you closer to him. in his embrace, you felt his hot breath bounce off and tickle the back of your neck as he spoke in his raspy morning voice, "is it time to get up already?" apologetically, you confirmed the time which only made felix tighten his grip on you and snuggle up closer—doing so while whining and wishing he had the ability to pause time and stop the earth from spinning. "please don't go, y/n. stay forever."
