"Jeongguk!"

The brown haired male sighed, closing his locker before turning to look behind him. Jimin jogged to reach him, huffing slightly.

"What's up, man?"

"H-Have you seen Tae?" Jimin asked, worry seeped in his tone.

Jeongguk frowned, "He's not in college?"

"No," Jimin hung his head low, "I haven't seen him since the party, it's been two days. He won't pick up my calls."

"I... oh god," Jeongguk muttered, running a hand through his hair, "I haven't heard a single sound from his house in the last two days."

"What?" Jimin gasped, snapping his head to look up at the taller male, "What do you mean, is he not at home?"

"I have no idea."

At that precise moment, Hoseok's loud, familiar laughter echoed over every other sound in the mildly crowded corridor, making Jimin and Jeongguk turn to look towards the red haired male. But he wasn't alone, making Jeongguk's jaw drop in surprise.

There was something different about the boy next to Hoseok. Was it the fact that the boy had gotten rid of his mullet and instead had freshly dyed silver hair, or the changes in his features ; how his otherwise chubby cheeks had shrunken and lost colour and the noticeable decrease in his weight.

Jeongguk didn't know. But his heart hurt. His plan didn't work. At least for him.

Jeongguk had tried his very best to get two birds with one stone, but the male didn't keep in mind that you can't expect the same reaction from two different people regarding one situation.

"Hey, Hobi, Hey.... Tae," Jimin watched the pair walk away with a shocked expression.

Hoseok and Taehyung didn't even look at Jimin and Jeongguk and went past them as if they were strangers. Jeongguk wasn't surprised, he knew Taehyung would ignore him. The male had made it clear that he had nothing to do with Jeongguk.

But what confused him the most was the fact that both Jimin's friends ignored the blonde boy who's eyes had already started brimming with tears.

"Jimin," Jeongguk started, keeping a hand on the shorter's shoulder, "I think Hobi took the situation with Yoongi to the heart."

"Y-You think that's the problem?" Jimin looked up at Jeongguk, pressing his bottom lip down my his teeth to stop it from quivering.

"Yeah, after all, Hoseok likes Yoongi too," the brown haired male shrugged, "he probably thinks you went behind his back."

"I mean, I guess," Jimin tore his gaze away, embarrassed, "it was my idea to make the first move."

"Don't stress over it, Jimin," Jeongguk started, "Yoongi chose you, though. He was the one who asked you out, right? So just, talk to Hoseok. He'll come around I'm sure."

"I don't know," Jimin murmured, "I feel like I betrayed him. But I can't help it! It's not my fault that I... love Yoongi-"

"You what?"

"You what?"

Jeongguk's eyes widened as he looked up to see the blue haired male standing a few feet away from them, a delicate smile slowly creeping up his face. Jimin gasped, hiding his face behind his hands and shaking his head, his thick blonde hair bouncing.

"Kitten, you what?" Yoongi smiled wider as he moved towards Jimin, attempting to peal his hands away from his face.

"Nothing, Yoon," Jimin's voice was muffled as he replied from behind his hand.
