Misfortunes to Fortunes (Akashi x OC)

Chapter 16

Third person POV

The rest of middle school went by in a blink of an eye. The Teiko basketball team won every single match they played and it was soon graduation day. The generation of miracles had gathered together and made an important promise. Everyone had headed different ways except Aomine and Momoi who had stayed together and so did Akashi and Sumire.

"Sei-nii?"-Sumire

"Hmm?"-Akashi

"What school are we going to?"-Sumire

"Rakuzan"-Akashi

After all the drama at Teiko, it had only brought Akashi and Sumire closer. They were basically inseparable. They almost never left each other and had now moved into a separate mansion by themselves. They had a huge mansion on private property, but they still stayed in the same room.

Time skip to entrance ceremony in Rakuzan highschool

"Let's invite the two students who got the highest grades in this year group. Both with a outstanding 100 percent."-Headmaster

Everyone clapped and a few curious murmurs could be heard. Everyone was wondering who these two were. They were the only ones who's ever got a 100 percent on the entrance exam that was said to be harder than third years final exams.

Everyone stopped and stared at the stage where a boy with red hair and heterochromatic eyes stood. Sticking to his side was a young girl who was much shorter and she had black hair. The boy wore a smirk while the girl was expressionless.

"We are both very honored to be here today. I chose this school because I am expecting highly of all of you. You wouldn't want to disappoint me or else I'll make your life miserable."-Akashi

"...sei-nii's mine so please don't take him from me..."-Sumire

Everyone was shocked by Sumire's comment Akashi looked down at the small girl beside him. She reached up and grabbed his hand after he gave her a warm and gentle smile.

"This is a warning to everyone here. If any of you touch Sumire or even look at her in a weird way, I'll make you and your families lives a living hell."-Akashi

With that, Akashi gave them a glare and then they both walked off the stage. He then returned to their front row seats where Sumire curled up into a ball and lay on Akashi's lap. She slowly feel asleep to the gentle petting.

Time skip

A few hours later, Akashi woke Sumire up as it was time to their first class. Sumire was carrying a few books in one hand and the other was intertwined with Akashi's bigger one. They both wore the standard Rakuzan uniform but instead of the school blazer, Sumire was wearing one of Akashi's hoodies that almost reached the end of her uniform skirt. She also wore knee high socks and black combat boots.

Akashi was holding both of their bags as they walked to their class. He had talked to the headmaster beforehand and they had agreed that Akashi and Sumire would be together in every class. Even their seats were to be next to each other.

When they got there, Akashi opened the door and they were the first ones there so they chose the back row seats. Sumire sat next to the window and Akashi sat next to her. Sumire tugged on the corner of akashi's blazer and He looked up from taking his books out of his bag.

"Sei-nii..."-Sumire

Akashi only chuckled at her soft calling and moved his table beside hers so that they were touching. After Akashi had everything he needed, he sat down and beckoned Sumire to move closer to him. Sumire made her way over to Akashi where she sat down on his lap facing him and looked up at him. Akashi gave  a smile and rubbed her back and then pat her head.

Sumire returner the gesture by playing with his red hair. After she played around for a bit, other students started coming in so Sumire gave Akashi a hug before heading back to her seat and watched as their English teacher walked in.

Everyone introduced themselves and they got on with class. The class lasted about one and a half hours but after listening to the English teacher talk on and on, Sumire got bored after half a hour.

She had basically slept through all their classes and the short girl was receiving some glances. It was obvious to everyone that she was sleeping on Akashi's lap, but the teachers said nothing about it. They all found this very weird.

After school, Akashi and Sumire has both filled in their application forms for the basketball club and They walked hand in hand to the gym. Akashi pushed the door open and suddenly all eyes were on them.

Sumire's POV

As Sei-nii pushed the door to the gym open, everyone stopped moving and turned to look at us. I didn't like the feeling of being given attention to except by Sei-nii so I stepped behind him and clutched his uniform blazer.

Sei-nii was the first to talk and asked for the coach. A person walked over and spoke to Sei-nii and Sei-nii handed that person our club application forms. I wasn't really paying attention to what they were saying so when Sei-nii turned back to me and held my hand, I assumed that we were now part of the basketball club.

We both headed to the changing rooms and took the empty lockers next to each other. Sei-nii locked the door and we changed into our sports uniform. I didn't really mind Sei-nii seeing me naked and I don't think he minded either and it's kind of become a normal thing to change in front of him.

We walked back into the gym and the coach looked towards us and told us to go over to where he was. When we got there, he called all of the other players to gather around. The all shouted something at the same time and i jumped at their loud voice before hiding behind Sei-nii.

"Today, we have two new members joining our team. They're both part of the famous Generation of miracles so don't underestimate them."-coach

After he had finished, he gave Sei-nii a look and Sei-nii nodded back .

"My name is Akashi Seijuro as you may or may not know. I will be taking the role of this teams captain from now on."-Akashi

"Kanade Sumire."-Sumire

"She will be your vise captain, teammate and strategist. You better treat them with respect."-coach

I looked up at Sei-nii who had a smirk on his face while his golden eye shone in the gym lights. The others took one look and fear was evident on their faces but I only smiled and hugged his arm tightly.
