You've gone astray
From the yellow path
Going down the dark way
You stumbled upon the lion's wrath
Yet fear had not settled
Oh no, bravery had
Funnily, you belittled
All those that went bad
You fought on alone
With your head held high
None to hear your groans
And none to hear you cry
But tears had no place
In a setting such as this
So you went on in haste
And such you went amiss
Gone now's your way
With only darkness as your light
You search and search
But no longer want to fight
For the dark that once welcomed
Now became your prison
For it enchanted and promised
A beautifully promising vision
Foolishly, you believed
In promises of nothings
Holding tight, you're relieved
On what you thought as something
You were ignorant
And a little bit a fool
But you were innocent
And made into a tool
You realized too late
What was happening to you
Now you know how cruel is fate
Yet all you can do now is rue
