Chapter 33: Friend

They are now performing at Music core as they are now at the 2nd chorus of their comeback song 'Yes or Yes'.

Tzuyu sang her part singing the lyrics, "It's all up to you." Instead of the lyrics, "Now it's all up to you."

Some of the members noticed the mistake their maknae made and smiled and kinda laughed while Tzuyu's eyes was widen because of her mistake.

But she kept on dancing, she looked at her side to see Sana is there.

They exchange stares and Sana gave Tzuyu a reassuring smile telling her that it's okay.

And they continued dancing until the song ended.

"One day I looked at her and I see something more than I did the night before. Like a switch in me has been flicked somewhere. And Tzuyu who was just a 'friend' is... suddenly the only person I can imagine myself with."

"Going somewhere?" Sana asked

Tzuyu froze in her tracks and closed her eyes, counting to five before turning around and giving Sana a sweet smile.

She wasn't prepared for this; she planned on going out before Sana even got home from running some errands for her passport with Dahyun because they're going to Guam because they're part of the line up in a free k-pop concert. But unfortunately that plan didn't happened because she got caught by her bestfriend.

"Uhh. Hi Sana."

"Where are you going?" Sana asked again now with a furrowed eyebrow.

"Out." Tzuyu quipped

"Out where?"

"Watching concert."

"With someone? Date?"

"Do I look like I'm going on a date?" Tzuyu asked pointing at her get up which compromise of her beanpole jacket, her most trusted pair of pants and her running shoes.

The safest choice because she didn't want anyone, especially Sana to think that she's going out on a date.

"Who's going to have a concert today?"

Boom... the question... of all things to ask.

She knew that avoiding the question would only arouse suspicion in Sana's mind, so Tzuyu chose to play it honest.

"Blackpink."

Sana looked at her in confusion, Tzuyu's words taking too long to sink in.

"Blackpink, huh." Sana said in resigned voice and brows furrowed.

"Yep, because uhh... Rosé eonnie invited me to watch their concert, so I didn't want to be rude and decline. And I have done the house chores." Tzuyu explained, hoping that Sana wouldn't quite make a big deal out of it.

It was true that Rosé asked her to watch her game today. Which led her to where she was standing right now, under the scrutiny of Sana.

By the looks on Sana's face and how her face crumpled as she heard that Rosé invited Tzuyu to watch their concert, Tzuyu couldn't help but wonder.

"Is she jealous? Ahhh. No... No... Why would she be jealous, Tzuyu?! Don't assume. Are you pretty?!" Her alter self-mocked.

"Uhhm. Okay Sana eonnie, I'll go now. I'm late, I think. The show is about to end I think." She babbled pushing Sana out of the way playfully.

"Go home early! We have to leave early tomorrow!"

"Yes, mom." Tzuyu yelled back, waving at Sana before walking away.
