Chapter 37: Cause & Cure

Dahyun woke up and looked at the time that says it's 3 AM

Her eyes went to look for Sana because Sana promised to go home early but to dismay her, Sana also said that she will not sleep in their room.

She stood up and headed to the next room to check if they already went home. She opened the door quietly.

She noticed that the lights were on so she knocked before opening the door. As she entered the room, she saw no one but she noticed that the pouch that Sana used is in the bed.

"Ugh. I fell asleep... Where is she?" Dahyun asked herself while rubbing her eyes

She headed to the kitchen and she saw nothing, she went straight to the roof because it's her favorite place and she thought to call her because it's late and invite Sana to sleep in their room.

She peeked slightly at the door making sure that she won't make a sound, she wants to peek first if to see if she will bother the both of them because it looks like their talking in a serious way.

She scanned the roof and her eyes were immediately trained on the two figures.

"I'm happy that you're here... You have... you have no idea how you make me happy Sana-ssi." Tzuyu said it so earnestly that Sana couldn't help but smile.

"Me too Tzu. I missed you haha."

"I miss you too Sana." Tzuyu said now that she returned her gaze to Sana.

"Happy birthday, Sana." Tzuyu said.

Sana planted a quick kiss on Tzuyu's cheek that made Tzuyu shocked. Tzuyu stared at her, her huge brown eyes, wide in amazement. And then her face broke into a smile. Her smile is so beautiful. She leaned forward and hugged her, planting a kiss on Sana's hair.

"Thank you, Tzuyu." She whispered to Tzuyu as she held on to their embrace, "This has got to be the best birthday I have ever had."

She heard the conversation and saw her two eyes how Sana planted a soft kiss on Tzuyu's cheek just few inch from the latter's lips.

She saw how Tzuyu's face broke into a huge smile, and how she leaned forward and entangled Sana into her arms while planting a kiss on Sana's hair.

There's something brewing inside of her. Something she's been avoiding to feel. Something dark and selfish... Jealousy...

She shouldn't be jealous but she is.

She can see how the two are hugging all comfortably.

The way Sana comfortably cuddled with Tzuyu, the ways Sana's faces seem so serene and clear.

Dahyun stood there for a quite a bit.

Taking it all in...

She's carefully watching the two. How weird that she could see Sana's body fit perfectly in the mold of Tzuyu's. How easily Sana could rest her head onto Tzuyu's chest because of their height difference.

Is she wasn't in a relationship with Sana, she wouldn't deny the spark that these two have.

If she wasn't. But she is...

She could trick herself to just see it as two normal best friends sharing a hug but she knows to herself that this two share something more intimate than friendship.

Before she and Sana got together, Dahyun could see just by Sana and Tzuyu's mare body language around each other that there is more to it than friendship but she kept on denying it to herself because she really likes Sana.
