Comfort Zone (Miyabi X Reader)

Ch 3 - Cohabitation

It's been one night since you and Amber moved in. How does the morning go?

Your alarm went off and the snooze was hit for you. Confused by this you look over the railing of the top bunk and Amber is reading. "Hey." You yawned.

"Morning. Sleep well?" Asked Amber looking over her shoulder.

"Yeah. You?"

"Can't complain. A little earlier than usual but yeah. I'm here."

You process that she's dressed and ready for the day. "Did you, change in here or change in the bathroom?"

"The bathroom. Just wasn't quite sure of it. In case you were up. So I changed out there and came back. You're, decent right?" She blushed.

"I still have on pants. Yes. We're good. I wouldn't do that to you. I have morals."

"Alright. Thank you for doing so. It's my first time living with a boy. I'm an only child."

You smiled. "As am I but have a cousin that's a girl a little older. Privacy for those things were number one priority. I get it. I'm not an immature guy like others."

"Do you belch a lot?"

"Nope."

"Open doors?"

"Yes."

"Leave the toilet seat down?"

"If I want my ass spanked. No. Seriously. Why is it always the ass? Ya know?"

She giggled. "Thanks. I feel like the tension is lowering."

"Oh yeah. Thanks for that Amber. I got your back. Not sure how long we will be duo partners but even so I got you as a line of duty."

"Aw. Sweet of you."

It was breakfast time in the dining hall as you and Amber were a little uneasy getting food. Walking in you heard small gasps and laughs. Being a co-ed duo really sparked the rumors and gossip around.

"They're actually allowed?"

"You think they do anything?"

"Are they together?"

You sigh. "Let's just ignore the fact."

Amber looked over. "Yeah. Maybe we should find a seat by the other pair."

"Phew. Good call." She walked over to sit next to Julie. "Hey. Can we join?"

"Ja." She smiled. Amber sat in between you and her before having two girls stand in front.

"Morning all." Greeted Tomoe. She was the long haired girl with a yellow ribbon in class that sat towards the middle. Her partner the brown hair and the bright colored eyes.

"Yes. Morning." Said Miyabi nervously.

They both sat down. You and Tor took one look at her and she was all flustered. So shy. Squirming and hid her face behind Tomoe. Her partner frowned. "Sorry about her. Guess you can say Miyabi is still a little awkward around guys."

You and Amber looked at each other and smiled. "We know."

"Alright so down to the task at hand. Why we joined you should kind of be obvious. We're both concerned about all of you. You know, rules not withstanding for co-ed dorms and all... It awkward?"

"It's funny you say that." Amber took a sip of water. When I knew I was sharing a room with a boy I thought the worst. Then I came second in the room. Now I wasn't sure about smell, habits, or any of that. But he's the best guy you can ask for right now. As soon as I got in he wanted to make sure I was comfortable. I don't know any that would do so out of the gate. Terms on the bunks, curfew, and everything." Amber really make you look a knight in silver armor.

"Hey thanks Amber. Glad it's all good. Tor? Julie?" You ask over.

"Nai. Tor is a wonderful roommate. He carried me to bed and then slept with me." Julie said this without blinking.

You almost choked on your glass of milk. "Jesus Christ!" You shouted.

"Hey hold on. It's not what you think." Blushed Tor knowing this was not the case.

Miyabi hide again behind Tomoe as she was outraged. "I thought you were a nice guy. But you're a perv! And a dog!"

"Pervert." Sighed Amber.

"Nai. Not making my case dude." You sighed.

From there class talked about the soul power, blazes, and the capability of being an exceed. Along with the standards the school had for everyone. Though the tension was still there. Tomoe wanted boys like Tor to get kicked by a horse (and die [Charlotte from Infinite Stratos]). Though with Tor and Julie getting on the same page it was better for you being the other "male cohabitate" as the other first year students said.

Right before your spar with Tor, Tomoe bowed down and asked for his forgiveness. Sure enough the girls are weirded out and the guys jealous of his supposed charm. Not the best of places for Tor. Moral of the story after the complications they were on solid terms. Now, time to let loose.

You bow and now it's just tai-jutsu. Anything physical (phrasing). Starting with a right punch. Just to see his reaction and moves. It seems that both of you have a similar technique. Height around the same for high kicks, almost symmetrical speed, and then patterns were hard to tell apart. Almost fighting yourself. Any punch he threw your way you knew how to take. Any form of kick. Before it got too aggressive you both called it a draw. Better off.

On the other side of things watching Tomoe and Julie go at was another thing of beauty. Since Tomoe was involved heavily in martial arts it was easy to gasp in amazement. The amount of power she had. Not macho at all either. Stamina at a very level. Tomoe was a force everyone knew would recon with. Between her energy, attack, and defense she was easily one of the best in the class. No question about it. As he partner Miyabi stood there amazed. Starstruck that her friend was doing damage. None of the other girls wanted to fight her. That says something right away.

Wow. Poor Miyabi. A little faith and she's got it big. And the awkward part will have to go. Seems to sweet. Though I'll see if she's got it. To sweet to be without guidance.

Just some school life to freshen up and eventually go into deep stuff. This may need a little TLC but I like a challenge. Can't wait.
