Comfort Zone (Miyabi X Reader)

Ch 10 - Verdict

I know I have waited a bit for this and put it on the back burner, but I found out the best way to do the next chapter which leaves me excited.

For you it was a little awkward. Now it was just walking around the mall in those two different groups. The girls all out in front talking and a meter or two behind the guys. You and Tor just followed the girls. Miyabi in the middle with Tomoe, Julie, and Amber comforting her on the topic of relationships. Going to an all girl school, being awkward, shy, and a bit scared of boys, and then those four idiots making her uncomfortable made it all scramble her head. Pity that a pretty girl have to debate such a thing. When a confession happens whether intentional or not it should be a straight up yes or no. Then work things out or gently decline. Well, should gently decline instead of rejecting him entirely and making him shrink to half of his size. *Slide Whistle*

You sighed and Tor thought it would be a good idea to make some conversation. "You alright?" He asked.

"I think I just made things awkward. I mean if she says no I'm fine. I really just don't want her shutting me out entirely. Tor she's afraid of guys. What am I gonna do? Outside be there for her the best I can then nothing. You just hope for the best. Worst don't think until it actually happens." Valid points and wise words. Taking this very well. Granted Tomoe told you to go away for a bit to straighten everything out which was turning out to be long and awkward, but at least you had company. 

"Glad I'm here. Wouldn't want me alone in this case."

"I don't think any guy is. I mean you can feel it." They rounded around the food court again and two of the girls went back to join you two. Amber and Julie that is. The debate was really up to Tomoe to finish all of these thoughts. But your partner did come back with a smile. Least a sign of something. "Hey." 

"Hello there." Smirked Amber.

"Hi..."

"I suppose you want me to violate girl code?" Asked Amber.

"No. Just wondering how long until the tension goes away."

"Oh. You mean when she says something? Shouldn't be long now. And I thought you were going to say rejected. I don't know honestly (FN). You must be well aware that confidence friend or more is all of it. If you panic so will she. If you don't know she will not be in high spirits."

"I figured that. Makes much sense." He smiled at her. "Thanks partner. I will help with Tora if you want."

Amber turned to you. "Actually I think I got this. Tomorrow or so. Not sure how exactly but I have an idea."

"Tor? Think Amber and Tora are a good match?" Asked Julie.

"I don't know what it will be like but he would be in good hands." Tor nodded. 

The two girls turned around. Tomoe content on the whole thing and Miyabi was still a little bit choked up. Hopefully this was it. It did put everyone on the spot. The only one that knew was Amber. Then of all people Miyabi wasn't one to take it well. Julie seems as if you wouldn't completely understand the concept. Amber knew what it was and she would decline due to her crush on Tora. Tomoe if she didn't have an interest would be focused on herself and Miyabi and their goals and would not want to put something else on her plate. Least not until way down the line. 

Christ has anyone made the verdict and ready to make order? I'm getting heartburn over here. "Hey girls." Best to smile and all you can do from there is just hope. But at least she is so nice. That is most helpful. 

"Hi, (FN)." Said Miyabi with her eyes closed.

"I apologize." You offer.

"Uh, for what?" She was confused. "You didn't do anything wrong. Right?"

"I hope I didn't make anything uncomfortable. That's all."

"Well you haven't. And I, wanted to thank you first for protecting us from those men."

"Yeah. 'Men' as they call themselves. They're pathetic. They really are." 

"When did you figure out your feelings?" She wanted to know all of the details now. This of course was going to be a long stretch.

"I don't know. Just like your cuteness and your eyes. It's what it really came down to. Nothing too much else."

"Thank you for being honest."

"Absolutely."

"Hey (FN)? I know I don't think I'm ready for that sort of thing but, what would we do?"

"I really thought we would just spend more time with each other. Get closer and train more."

"Does that mean we would hold hands and do things that couples do?"

"Hey Miyabi I wouldn't do anything you aren't comfortable with. I can't do that to you."

"Well, if we start out slow can I be your girlfriend?" What!?

"Huh?" Amber had no idea this was working out like this.

"I uh-" Can't refuse this. "At your own pace. I accept."

"Splendid." She blushed. "So, let's explore the mall together with everyone?"

"Please. Though I'll leave certain departments alone for now. Yeah, that would be a great idea."

"Alright. Let's have fun Miyabi."

"Thanks, Hun?"

"Eh?" Everyone looked.

"We'll work on it. Haha. I have no clue either." With that you walk next to her and head off to the next store. This is how it should be. Just smiling and having things easy going. What a life. And amazing for Miyabi because this was making her stronger.

Wow. That came out better than I originally thought. Now for the new arc. Will these two last or will conflict kick them in the ass?
