I picked Rocky up and he took a look around the store.
He tapped me on the shoulder and pointed at some popsicles.
"Ya mother wants you to eat nutritious"
He threw his head back and started to cry.
"I didn't say me"
I walked over to the freezer and got the juice sticks, putting them in the basket.
"Daddy, Nemmy?"
"Nemmy is not being nice. That's why she's at home"
Rocky grabbed my face and made me look at him. "Daddy"
"You don't have to call my name every time you want my attention"
He put his fists up and giggled.
"Cute kid"
I turned towards the voice and smiled.
"Ou, cute dad too" She finished.
I shrugged. "There isn't too much for me to say really"
Five star weave. Designer clothes. Matching bag. Thigh high boots.
"I could think of a couple things"
"Hi" Rocky leaned towards her.
"I'm a father of three and the other two are younger than him. Run for the hills."
"I have a son of my own. He's two and a half" She responded.
"Play date. Let's try a playdate. He's a nice kid on account of his mother"
"Give me your-"
"Nah, imma take your number down"

"You like this house, Rocky?" I asked him.
The realtor looked nervous.
We had left the last two houses based off this question.
And I liked them all.
He shook his head no.
"What kind of house you like?" I asked.
"WinPooh tree, daddy!" He said excitedly.
"Okay, but what if we put a Winnie the Pooh treehouse in the backyard?"
He nodded his head.
"What does that mean? You like the house now?"
He walked away, and I looked at the realtor.
"Don't you think-"
"He'll come back" I said.
"Daddy!" Rocky started stomping.
I went to where he was, and he pointed at a bowl of mints.
"No, you gon' be slobbing on that for two hours. That's not even real food. You already had juice sticks"
He threw a big old fit after that.
I told the lady that I wanted the home as soon as possible.
I signed a bunch of shit, and we'd be meeting again next week.
When I got home, I had a bunch of calls to make.
Nemiah sat up against me, watching some monster truck show, sucking on a pacifier.
