Final Fantasy XV; Story Idea
"So this is farewell..." Ignis stated as he stood next to Gladious and Prompto, facing towards his childhood friend. "Yeah, here we are.." Noctis replied, looking between the three. "It's all you.." Gladious spoke up. Noctis nodded before lowering his head a slight bit before turning to walk up the stairs. Prompto took in a shaky breath, his head lowered. "No turning back now," Prompto spoke, causing Noctis to turn around. "Prompto. Gladio. Ignis. I leave it to you. Walk tall,... my friends." Noctis stated.
"Godspeed,.. and take care. Majesty" Ignis stated, and the three bowed to Noctis. As the three return to their normal positions, daemons rose up from the ground. Noctis Placed his right fist over his heart and nodded. "The time has come." He spoke, as he turned around and once more started his journey up the steps to the throne room.
Entering the throne room, Noctis walked across the floor and up the stairs to the throne. he stopped right next to it, and placed his hand on the arm, taking in a shaky breath. "I'm home." He mumbled, looking at the throne. "I've walked tall.. Although it took me a while,... I'm ready now." He added as he took his seat on the throne. He blinked a few times and lowered his head a little. "I love you all. Luna.. guys.." He started, as his ring started to glow. "Dad.. The time we had together... I cherish.." He stopped for a moment and frowned. "Kings of Lucis... Come to me!" He called out, his father's sword appearing.
Noctis shoved the sword into the stone before the throne, as all the soul-arms are spread out in a circle before him. Slowly, one by one, every past king of each soul arm raised, including Behamut's like king figure.. The king before him rose his sword and charged towards him until a figure suddenly appeared before him. "Wait!" She cried out, raising her hands in front of her. The king stopped and narrowed his gaze at her. "Atropos..." He growled. "I will not let you kill this king!" She snapped. "Why is that?" He replied.
"You forced him on this path, and made him watch people he loves die! Ones that did not need to die, simply because you refused to do the correct thing!" she argued. The King raised his head and snorted. "Move aside, Atropos." He stated. "No! Kings of Lucis, you all failed to stop this madness years ago! If it wasn't for The Wise King, we wouldn't be in this position!" Atropos snapped. "Now, that wasn't my fault!"Another king spoke up, which Atropos glared at the king, causing him to shrink back.
"It was. It is all of your faults! This madness could have been dealt with way before now when the problem was small. No, your royal pain the asses push it off like it nothing." She snapped. "As the goddess of fate, I will not let you guys keep playing with the fate that meant to be Noctis's!" She added. "He was never meant to sacrifice himself, never meant to lose Luna and never meant to go on a wild goose chase around Lucis." She growled. "No more! He will get to live his life." Atropos stated.
"If so, then he must find a replacement." A king spoke up. "The Balancer.," Atropos spoke, a frown on her face. "Yes, the girl who died by Arydn. Wise choice.." Another king spoke up."Wait! Do I not get a say in this?" Noctis spoke up from behind the goddess. "No." the goddess replied. "If you wish to live your life with Luna, then shut your mouth and let me handle this." The goddess growled. Noctis looked away and closed his mouth. "She would be perfect... After all, she will die in a different manner, a less painful way." Another king spoke.
"Unfortunately.." The goddess spoke. She turned around and lifted the sword up, the kings vanishing one by one. she wouldn't let them hear what she is about to say to King Noctis. "Noctis.." She stated, capturing his attention. "In order for you and Luna to live in happiness and peace, for the world to be right once more, and for daemons to be gone... You must find the Balancer and have her take Luna's place. I recommend the ceremony where you are to receive the blessing of the Hydrean." She spoke. "And if I don't?" He question. "You will suffer all this once more and the girl will die a slow death by the hands of Arydn. If you must, think of this way.. One life in exchange for thousands, no millions." She spoke, as she handed him his sword.
