A/N- This will continue from when Kirstie gets the coffee.

Kirstie POV

"Can I get a large caramel macchiato and a grande iced coffee?" I asked the barista when I got to the front of the line. The woman smiled at me. Her name was Stephanie.

(Remember her, anyone?)

"Sure. Anything else?" She asked me.

"No, that'll be it. Thank you."

Another woman, who served me the first two times, came up. "Hey, weren't you here like thirty minutes ago?" She asked, confused.

"Yeah. Um, my friend is pregnant and is craving- well-demanding coffee." I explained.

"Oh. Well tell her I said congratulations." Theresa, the barista, told me. How do I tell her my friend is a he and not a she?

"Um. He's a man." I said slowly. Stephanie's eyes widened. Theresa was silent.

"He doesn't happen to have brown hair, brown eyes, and a beard, does he? He's also short?" She asked me. Why the heck did she just describe Mitch?

"Yes. He is short with brown hair, brown eyes, and a beard."  She turned to Theresa.

"He's the one I told you about! That little b**** flicked me off."

"Was there a blonde with him?" I asked crossing my arms.

"Yeah, he was really cute."

"Well maybe he flicked you off because you were eyeing his man." I said. Just then our drinks were done so I grabbed them, turned, and walked out of Starbucks.

Mitch groaned as he got out of bed. Kirstie was taking forever with the coffee and he was getting impatient, yet very hungry. He was about half way to the kitchen when he felt a sharp pain in his side.

Mitch gasped, grabbed his side and fell to his knees. Phone. I need to get to the phone. He thought and tried to stand up just to fall back down again.

Pain shot through his body and his mouth hung open in silent screams. Luckily, Kirstie opened the door to see Mitch laying on his side, writhing in pain.

"Oh my gosh! Mitch!"

"Kristie, hospital..." Mitch managed to say before blacking out.

Mitch slowly opened his eyes. He turned his head and saw Kirstie sitting in a chair next to his hospital bed. She was on her phone. Typical. "Kirst?" He mumbled.

She looked up and smiled. "Hey, you're awake."

"Where's Scott?" He asked her.

"Right here."

Mitch heard his voice but didn't see him. Kirstie turned her phone to Mitch. Scott smiled at Mitch, who smiled back.

"How you feeling, baby?" Scott asked through the screen.

"Fine, other than the fact I'm in a hospital." Mitch playfully rolled his eyes. Scott and Kirstie laughed. Kirstie gave Mitch the phone and exited the room.

"I wish you were here." Mitch said.

"Me too. I just want to hold you." He replied. The nurse walked in and Mitch looked up.

"You're awake." She smiled. "Good. You will be able to leave soon but first, who is the father?" Mitch turned the phone so the nurse could see Scott.

"I am." Scott waved through the camera. The nurse smiled again. "I'm in Texas right now, but I'll be back in four days."

"Alright, well when you get back make sure he doesn't move around too much."

"You may leave when you are ready." The nurse turned and walled out. Mitch looked back at the phone.

"See you in four days. Love you."

"Love you too babe." Scott smiled before signing off.

Twenty minutes later

Kirstie and Mitch were on their way back to Scott and Mitch's apartment.

"Hey, Kirst?" Mitch said from the passenger seat.

"Hmm?" She kept her eyes on the road. Mitch grinned.

"I still didn't get my coffee."
