Chapter 2- Kirstie

Later that day Kirstie came over to help the couple with wedding plans.

"Ooo! How about this one???" Kirstie asked excitedly showing Scott and Mitch the laptop screen.

"Oh my gosh, it's so pretty." Mitch said. Mitch, of course, wanted a beach wedding and Scott liked the idea. Kirstie showed them a picture of a beautiful white sand beach. The trio were sitting in the living room ofScott and Mitch's apartment. They sat on the couch Kirstie next to Scott, and Mitch on Scott's lap.

"I like it too." Scott said with a smile. Kirstie was just as excited, or even more excited about the couples wedding than they were. Kirstie, Avi, and Kevin helped Scott with the proposal.

Kirstie was so helpful planning the wedding with them. She helped them come up with a list of a hundred people to attend, helped pick out a cake, and found  phone numbers for the location to rent a beach house. So they didn't really have much to do.

Thanks Kirst, you've been really helpful." Mitch smiled as Kirstie got up to leave. She hugged Mitch tightly, their bodies pressed together. Mitch couldn't help it, he let out a high-pitched gasp. Kirstie pulled away and looked at him, worried.

"You okay?" "I didn't hurt you, did I?" Her eyebrows furrowed up in worry. Mitch looked at Scott, beginning to panic.

"Um, no. I'm fine Kirst, you didn't hurt me." Kirstie could tell he was lying and he knew it.

"Don't lie to me. What's wrong?" Kirstie said looking from Mitch to Scott, who seemed to be having a staring contest. Mitch finally turned back to Kirstie.

"Ok, you're right, I'm not fine. But I'm not ready to tell you yet, not now. I'll tell you and the guys tomorrow when you come over. Ok?" Mitch said looking her in the eyes.

"K." Kirstie looked at each of the two again before turning and walking out the door.

Mitch walked out of the bathroom looking at Scott who was leaning on the wall across from it.

"Positive. They all said positive Scott. I'm having a baby." Mitch smiled. He took three pregnancy tests and all of them said the same thing. Mitch was excited. He couldn't wait to be a father.
