Chapter 4 -Practice & Spiders

In the middle of 'Aha' Mitch stopped singing and bolted to the bathroom. He leaned over the toilet throwing up. He sat back on his knees, panting slightly.

The group exchanged worried glances as they listened to Mitch vomiting.

"I'll go check on him." Scott said before walking to the bathroom. "Babe, you ok?" He asked through the closed door.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Mitch answered. He flushed the toilet and brushed his teeth before exiting the bathroom. Scott raised an eyebrow at him.

"You sure?"

"Yes, baby I'm fine." Mitch smiled. They walked back to the living room, Mitch stopping in the kitchen to get waters for everyone.

After practice the group sat around in a circle talking. Mitch yawned.

"You guys can keep talking but I'm taking a nap." He said, standing up.He mage his way over to the bedroom and closed the door.

"So what do you guys-" Scott didn't get to finish his sentence. He was cut off by a high-pitched scream. Mitch.

Scott jumped up and ran to the bedroom with Avi, Kevin, and Kirstie talking behind him. Right as Scott got to the door Mitch swung it open and ran right into Scott. Mitch wrapped his send around Scott's torso, burying his face in Scott's chest.

"Mitch, what is it?"

"Sp-Spider…" Mitch said turning his head and pointing into the room. There, in the middle of the ceiling, dangling above the bed, was a HUGE spider. Kirstie let out a similar scream like Mitch's trends and ran back to the living room, along with Mitch.

A few minutes later Scott, Kevin, and Avi returned to the living room where Kirstie and Mitch were talking.

"Alright, the spiders dead." Kevin said.

"Why're you smiling? What's so funny?" Mitch asked, cocking his head to the side.

"We hit the spider and it fell on Avi's head." Scott explained, holding back a laugh. Avi super frowned and sat on the couch next to Kirstie.

They talked for a few more hours before Avi, Kevin, and Kirstie left.

They hugged, Mitch holding his stomach away from them as they hugged.

"Bye guys." He said with a smile and closed the door behind them. He walked back over to the couch where Scott was sitting and cuddled into his side. Scott wrapped his arm around him automatically, holding him close.

They were in the middle watching spongebob when Mitch yawned. "Someone's sleepy." Scott teased. Mitch looked up at him and rolled his eyes.

"Thank you, captain obvious." Mitch said, the sass clear in his voice. "But I am not going to sleep alone after what happened earlier."

"Scardy cat," Right as Scott said the Wyatt meowed. They both laughed. "It is late so let's go to bed." Mitch nodded and they stood. Once they were in bed Mitch fell asleep almost instantly. Scott laughed quietly and kissed Mitch on the forehead.

"Goodnight Mitchie, love you."
